Anyone follows MAD MEN all the way?

i am. Madmen is my most favourite series. best writing u could get. as good as The Sopranos and The Wire.

Mad Men is one of my favourite series aswell. Watched since Season 1.

I have just watched 'The River' and found it is quite a good sci-fi/mystery/horror drama series produced Steven Spielberg, really liked it a lot, too bad it was cancelled after Season 1!

Just want to share with 'Lost' fans here, kinda similar but I prefer this more!

^I loved The River and was disappointed it got cancelled as well. I think there wasn't enough promo for it + maybe it was on during the wrong time, coz the show itself was good.

Just finish watching Wedding Band and I would say that it's one of the brilliant show. great chemistry between cast, funny and awesome cover of songs. Too bad it was canceled. Anyone know other series like Wedding Band?

Homeland season 3 start already? Not end of this month?

^It was leaked. I'm considering whether to watch this episode now and then have to wait a month for EP2 or to just wait and watch it when it was meant to be aired.

Anyway watch Low Winter Sun? Is it any good?

Homeland S3, yeah im better wait until 'official airing'. 4 or 5 weeks gap between episode are 2much..

Low Winter Sun. i watched 2 first episode. not so good, but its ok. corrupted cops, cop killing cop cover up. initially i just want to drop my interest after watched the pilot, but since not much good series around ill give another 2 or episodes. slow moving crime drama, much like The Killing.

trying catch up whole season of House of Cards, i heard its so good. any comment?

house of cards? BRILLIANT. better than those u mentioned above, actually, it's in a whole different league compared to them. the only series that is comparable (recent series) to it is Game of Thrones.

other highly recommend (recent) series from me: The Newsroom, Hannibal and Elementary

House of Cards

ive seen the first 2 episodes, and its brilliant. love it.

Netflix had some gems this year. House of Cards and Orange is the New Black. both are brilliant..

did i mention "Broadchurch"? UK investigation drama, only 8 episodes, and it's quite good, highly recommended.

only 8 episode but it really exhaust me a lot...i feel like i shud watch pilot ep, middle ep and ending enough...watching 8 episode back to back.. make me like wanted to puke...8 episode just to find the murderer too exaggerate... content of the story good but if only they doing it for 3 episode shud be the best...

well, if the case has any solid leads, even 1 episode is enough, but they didn't get anything solid for most of the season, most leads became dead ends. some ppl here will completely disagree with you, i once got shot down here in LYN because of comments like yours regarding a couple of American series (also murder investigative in nature), but those were really long, annoying, boring and yes, it's "just one murder". this series though, is interesting the whole way, not only because of the murder, but because of this small community of people. and who would be bored looking at that amazing scenery (those american ones were just dreadful, always raining, no scenery at all, and worst of all, annoying and ugly people crying a lot).

Speaking about long murder investigations, I'm disappointed that The Killing got cancelled.
