I tried widgetsoid but it seem like it only redirect u to Mobile Network settings and u need to choose WCDMA or GSM manually.

Do you know what is 2G in the first place?

2G = GSM + Use packet data.

Tried, able to use whatsapp, retrieve Gmail on my SGSII

If you can sync your N900's contacts to Outlook. Then sync Outlook to SGS2 via Kies.

Did this for my SE C905 to SGS.

after using juice defender ultimate for few days, i finally decided to not using it.
it keeps switching off and on the data. was at 55% then i switch off JD, then hang, after that i reboot battery at 17% wtf..

HELP"!!! I'm now on lite'ning 2.0. If wanna update to 2.2 update to 2.1 first or direct 2.2? I put both 2.1 n 2.2 inside my Sdcard but when in Cwm why i can't find those file?

u put inside external sd card izit? if yes then look for this folder: external_sd. shud be inside here

Go to the XDA Litening ROM site. The instructions are quite clear how to upgrade from 2.0 -> 2.1 -> 2.2 via CWM. Please follow the instructions. Works for me.
