Preferbly upgrade the brakes, because I feel the stock brakes a little too spongy

honestly i never get the feeling of 150 and above as i am currently driving a honda city tongue.gif and cant wait to get the feel of my polo gti next year!i dont know what to expect and couldn't arrange a test drive that soon either.
i wonder how those cars can do 180+ without fear of emergency break or sudden change of lanes from cars on the left..its either the break is damm good or they are just risking life.your thoughts?

Am quite captivated by VW by it's signature farting sound on a GTI.

Wondering, is there anyway to replicate or enable the GTI farting sound on a Golf TSI?

Anyone manage to get it from changing the down pipe or stage 1, etc?

btw is it normal for this thing to happen - when let go the pedal the car seems like jerking/juddering (dont know the correct term but the symptom is that the car feel like a brake is being applied)...btw this things happens ever since from the 1st day of car collections.....

btw my friend collect the car 3 weeks ago...

Im driving a tsi too. When i let go my pedal frm idle with D mode, the car idle for another 0.5-1 sec then start moving forward slowly without any jerking i suppose.

I do hav the brake being Applied feeling when i press the pedal to accelerate but did not press too much (n not too little either) then i will feel a little jerk effect, if everytime i accelerate hard, i wont hav the issue. Lol.

When I bought my Golf 2 months ago at Wearnes Bangsar, they still had Shadow Blue.

But now when I log on to the site, the option is gone. Discontinued maybe?

But to be honest I don't really like this color in the flesh. It looks kinda cheap and flat from certain angles, depending on how the sun shines on it.

Blue graphite is a much classier color, in my humble opinion.

The brakes are good coupled with ABS but it can always still be better! wink.gif

In the plans, start off first with simple steel braided hoses first. Then thinking about the R brakes.

Yes, you need to change the exhaust. I have heard a TSI with a Remus exhaust achieve that together with a custom downpipe. Not too sure if he had removed the cat converter or added any bullets. Also heard the same for the 1.4 Scirocco as well.

yes we can laugh.gif

hmm i don't think there is any jerking, say if you are doing 70 in 7th gear (D mode), it will probably drop to 3rd gear when u shift to S.
