really? which upgrade r u referirng to?

hey wanna ask u guys whether u drive your car like me :D

D mode for traffic, going to work, in town
S mode for overtaking, medium traffic
+/- (paddles) mode for ulu yam and genting spirited driving ^^

i tried using S/D mode while using the paddles but some times i end up double shifting. (it auto shift right before i upshift) and end up jump 2 gears up :(

any1 know if they sell manual stick shift vw cars in msia?

Well for me I use S whenever I enter highways. Btw is that your scirocco in your avatar? Looks like there's DRL installed. Where did you install it?

yea, at exoticmods sunway, along with the R bodykit and exhausts. expect to pay close to RM10k ~

bro .. they managed to do the programming for the drl and signal lights ? i ordered my R bumper dy .. xpect to arrive by nx week ... coz i think they 'll need to swap our ori DRL to become signal light right ?

lol i dont really know the details la, i straight mod the car right after i buy the car. All i can say is the DRL cant switch on or off.. permanently on.. even in morning lol. So better get used to that, scirocco already attract attention, somemore with DRL lol -tutup muka-

The only one I know which was sold with a manual stick was the last generation's Polo GTI. Otherwise you need to consider getting one brought in via AP from the UK. i.e. Golf R or Rocco R manual

how much to book a car ?

was told it's RM1.5k.

anyone mind sharing the complete scheduled servicing and cost ?

i never touch S mode at all.. dont like it...
i always use +/- or D mode down shift for over takes.. cause u gotta get used to the upshift and downshift what RPM it drops when u downshift etc

u always gotta see ur rpm if u dont want it to change 2 gears...
try to shift around 6.2.k rpm
cause DSG upshift got delay like 0.5 sec

but really downshift is the charm for DSG... superb downshift is freaking fast, love it for hard braking or late braking ..

AFAIK service interval for polo is 15k km. I would like to know how much for normal service and major service. thx

Added on September 21, 2011, 10:00 amFrom what I have asked Polo owners, normal service can range from RM300+ to RM500+ depending on the place you are servicing at. Haven't met a Polo owner who has reached 60,000km yet, thats the first major service.

hi all, just wandering why the polo dont have alarm? coz the other day me n my wife go to giant. my wife was holding our baby so she doesnt close the door and i didn't check. i left my polo with the side door open for almost 2 hours....luckily nothing got stolen.....if got alarm sure it will sound if the door not close right?

My Golf doesn't have an alarm either, but the central locking will refuse to engage if one of the doors is not properly closed. It's very easy to tell because the locking lights won't flash when you press the lock button.

I assume the Polo should be like this too.

maybe i didnt notice the light also....i just assume if i press the lock button the door will lock....lesson learn here...
