I'm very keen of upgrading to Golf 1.4 TSi, thing is i'm from Kelantan and i have to drive down to Penang everytime for servicing . Do you guys think i should go for it ?
Well servicing is only per 15,000km. The real problem would be to get your car fixed (to claim warranty and such) in an event that there's a problem with the car.
Yeah deposit and downpayment are different. Deposit is simply to confirm your intention to purchase the car.
As for discounts, the sales agent should tell you upfront how much he can offer you. As far as I know VW discounts are mostly uniform regardless of what dealer you visit.
When I bought my Golf 2 months ago, the deal was 1% discount and 1 free service. I've heard of people pushing for 1% discount and 2 free service, but not any more than that.
The latest deal I heard of is RM3,500 discount for Golfs. Not sure if this is still valid, but if it is it's a pretty good deal.
There are also separate discounts if you buy a pre-registered 2010 car. This can vary quite a bit, so best to shop around if you want a 2010 model.
Thank you so much for the advice!!!
Will certainly go to the VW to put a deposit on the car
Guys, I have a set of 17" 8JJ OZ Ultraleggera with Michelin Primacy HP 225/45/R17 to let go. Taken from my own Golf 1.4 TSI. Been using it for the last 30,000 km. Gunning for RM3500 negotiable. Will post pictures soon. Interested please PM me.
Can anyone confirm there is new Polo variant (Polo sport 1.2tsi) release for malaysian market? I know there is the new Polo GTI, but there is also photos of Polo Sport 1.2 spreading around.
anyone mind to clarify what kind of rims is that? for me it doesnt look like TE37 i might be wrong though! seriously deep in poison! But think about the road condition in mas... Worth to lower down like that?

Yes the Polo sport is going to be around RM5k more expensive from the normal Polo. I saw the pricelist at Wearnes already. I think the extra stuff it comes with the Polo Sport is worth the extra RM5k

heard that it going to be 17" rims.. few extra stuff also in the interior. Should be worth the extra money.
its a GTD with GTI bodykit + super kao lowered and TE37 rims... simple and nice IMHO
I know the Americans love to slam their rides. Some even having just a couple of centimeter clearance for the bumpers. I guess they can do it where their roads don't have that many speed humps unlike ours. Then again, it does look rather ugly hahaha!
