hi,
i just bought this transformer and so far i loving it.
but the build quality is not so good. when i pick it up from the side, it make a kinda of faint cracking sound. (donno how to describe it)

Just realize my custom rom do not have the system update option but status to show battery oevel and some info.... not sure is the feature for the custom rom or 3.2new feature

Hi all,

Finally got my eee pad yesterday after long waiting period for my replacement unit on the light bleed.
Today testing onthe unit and find out the screen is kind of yellowish when browsing .attached a picture comparison with ipad1 n my eee pad with max max brightness.

Is it normal ?

Agree with pcexpert94 on the crack sound at the side near the power n volumn area .my previous unit do not have this kind of sound .

The tab make a bit of cracky when i hold it from the side, the dock also same around the hinges.

There is something wrong... my screen's brightness is very nice

Yeah my wife told me why look so yellow caz she use to play around on my previous unit .
Have to inform asus again on this . Really tiring on sending the unit again n dontknow this time have to wait for how long . No luck using tf101 .

Really bad luck. Hope it's not from Evernew. They are known to fleece their customers by recycling returned units as new ones.

how come i cannot get the ota update for 3.2 ?

Coz the custom 3.2 rom just crash just now and boot loop so i back to stock

After i updated to 3.2 noww battery drain is an issue on my KB.... :/

oopss... i will be doin my experiment today.. now is both full batteries.. lets see wat happen few hours later ...
hopefully it not drain anymore...

the creaking sound is normal on most builds of transformer but overall i think the build quality is pretty good. i'd rate it 90 / 100.

actualy. the circular cursor have a purposes. You guys notice when you swipe you could see the center white portion moved to indicate where are you swiping? Also when you pinch zoom on the touch pad, it creat 2 white circle for you to notice your pinch distance. So overall, I kinda like the idea. The cursor will disapear when you type anyway. So not a distraction at all.

anyone notice your video cant plat out of suddent? it wont list dont the list of player even. The fix this, I found out rebooting it will. But another wierd encounter is, just eject the micro SD card and re-insert. It will work. After that, it wont happen again. DOnt know why after the 3.2 update it happen.

Also, the KBD turn off KB wake up feature still didnt work for me. But, I dont really have battery drain issue. Further morem, if I have this feature, I'll still turn it off anyway. So.. basically is not really an issue for me at this moment.

Notice quiet a number of people actually face this problem after you flash to the latest or even previuos feature.

Do you face situation where when the MobileDock Battery Saving Mode IS checked... you can't turn ON the tablet with any keystroke from standby... but you could use the touchpad to turn ON?

yes, happens to mine as well but wait about 5 seconds and pressing the touch pad wont turn it on. dont worry, there wont be a drain. at least on mine it didnt drain a single % for 7 hours while i was asleep in bed...

is from Lowyat , but i wonder whether the yellow tint display caused when i upgrade to HC3.2 . Can anyone share with this ? TQ

Your KBD remain unchain after 7 hours but did it drain your tablet bat instead?

my tablet was connected to the keyboard, didnt notice any drain on both ends..will do the test again tonight if i remember that is..haha
