i thought this tablet's price is supposed to be lower than the galaxy tab 10.1. not the same price =.=
and with the tf prime coming out just around the corner, i would expect sellers to drop the price reasonably to sell off stock.

and considering that the retail price of the prime in US is 499$ which is about 1.7k here after rough conversion, i would expect the original transformer price to be alot lower by now. but no... sad..

hey. i dunno whether i posted something here. haha. but just wanna share my experience.

i just realized that my 4-month-old transformer couldnt charge. so stupid of me, i didnt charge it until it gave 15% battery alert.

i checked the other topic at android n transformer forum. they said that put in the freezer first, or pushed the prongs inside adapter. now my adapter is in the freezer.

but i was just thinking about something. will the transformer prime have a better charger/adapter?

seriously, the cable now is too short and the adapter easily gets hot.

usb is fine. thinking of changing my adapter...

Just bad luck.... Welll, im using my wife galaxy tab 10.1 that i bought her for early xmas gift. Which is not bad. But the 3.1 version gave me the feeling of my 1st experience wth transformer. Anyway... I might wait for the prime or go for tab10.1. Like the ui, speaker and vib. Gave better experience.

not one is working...i tried
u just have to try and try again until the adapter gets in place
it's kinda like 1/1000 chance
i tried for 3 days only manage to full assemble the adapter properly
when u get it to fully sit...better dn't unassemble it again
and no...there are no other adapter...i tried other adapter as well...not strong enough to trigger the charge
this adapter is specially powerful..it charges the tablet VERY fast...mean high voltage type

those place sell especially way more expensive than ori price
last year go there survey for TV...
found out compared to another shop...just an electronic shop
same floor, same shopping center....same model
the price difference is almost double

this kind of thing made me regret that i played with the adaptor, pull out the usb and stuff.

that means, i gotta keep on trying and trying until it's working again?

Added on December 5, 2011, 2:01 pmmine the connector broke a few days after i bought it, went to asus center for warranty but they refused because the adapter can still be use when testing.

of course can use if you pushed real hard but the adapter connector was broken either way.

the only thing i did was pull out the adapter from plug and the connector/pin whatever just broke. obviously it has serious quality issues.

Added on December 5, 2011, 2:08 pmbro, just make sure the adapter is connected with the metal pin correctly.

just push it, and try and error until it works.

when it works, it is advisable to sellotape it around the adapter and make sure whenever you pull out the adapter from the plug, please do it gently because it's very fragile.

ya...just try...once its fully sit...its hard to pull apart already
if its not fully sited.......use finger gently push also fall apart
it takes 1/1000 chances
i think mine is accident case...try try thn suddenly a HARDER crack sound....becuz if even if its not fully sit..it still crack when u assemble it....but the real one...u would hear a larger crack sound and when pull apart..its not as easy anymore
bottom lime...the adapter has no problem...the problem is...it should have come fully sit instead of 2 piece

for pyramid i think u can try evernew over there. The staff there is way better then Mid Valley in terms of servicing and i last time claimed my warranty there. Otherwise there are a lot of IT shops inside as well, i bet there must be at least a few of them carrying TF stock

for office tools there's Polaris Office. There are also tons of them out there which are decent as well, some of the are not free though.
Battery so far for me it lasts around 8 hours on normal usage, should be enough for a tablet
Games on facebook are theoretically playable, but the performance is bad. I have tried playing Sims Social on it before, it's just that it's lagging a lot. U can still play with it lar, just don expect smooth experience from flash content for the time being.

yeap, u need to hear a damn loud SNAP sound to confirm that it's tightly fitted. the best way to confirm is that the bottom of both the pieces are nicely aligned, not one up one down. btw, the reason for them to put it this way is so that they only need to remake the front part of the adapter for different regions/countries, and separate also i think because of that
