for pyramid i think u can try evernew over there. The staff there is way better then Mid Valley in terms of servicing and i last time claimed my warranty there. Otherwise there are a lot of IT shops inside as well, i bet there must be at least a few of them carrying TF stock
for office tools there's Polaris Office. There are also tons of them out there which are decent as well, some of the are not free though.
Battery so far for me it lasts around 8 hours on normal usage, should be enough for a tablet
Games on facebook are theoretically playable, but the performance is bad. I have tried playing Sims Social on it before, it's just that it's lagging a lot. U can still play with it lar, just don expect smooth experience from flash content for the time being.
np for questions, that's what forums are for anyways. If u have any other question then feel free to ask too smile.gif
yeap, u need to hear a damn loud SNAP sound to confirm that it's tightly fitted. the best way to confirm is that the bottom of both the pieces are nicely aligned, not one up one down. btw, the reason for them to put it this way is so that they only need to remake the front part of the adapter for different regions/countries, and separate also i think because of that

i wonder for the light bleed still can claim after half year?hmm

dunno, lol... i still thinking want to claim a not.. but really annoying when watch HD videos with TF, Iron man 2 for instance, i am enjoying the nice contrast then suddenly notice the light bleeding..

maybe i can make excuse say i heard ppl warranty edi become more worse until recently..
btw, the new batch of LCD have no light bleeding issue anymore right? and does changing the display change the main board as well? i certainly don't want my B50 become B90 with i got it back

Considering similar spec of tablets like samsung tab 10.1 and ipad 3g is priced at RM1900, I feel this tf-101g at RM1999 is not too bad considering it has the keyboard dock as well.

pretty much so. dont worry about the FREE RAM - 600MB is MORE than enough. you won't run out of memory when running any single app. It isn't like windows - the OS itself will handle memory management and clear out unnecessary apps that are running in the background to get FREE RAM.

On gingerbread with galaxy s (512MB) I had around 339MB of available ram. If I use Insanity rom with zeam launcher, I can consume just over a hundred RAM. This gives me plenty of RAM to open lots of tabs in the browser.

Currently I'm using ice cream sandwich. Again I have almost 340MB of RAM available out of 512MB. (512-340=172MB of RAM reserved for system).

I am aware of how linux manages its memory. I would expect honeycomb to set aside about the same amount of RAM for the system. I never knew it can take as much as 400MB of RAM. IMO, it is pretty steep.

well if u know how android manages its memory u shouldnt worry...i believe there's a number of services that uses up memory so those could be the culprit..to me the 1gb ram is enuf even with 600mb free..better than the stupid ipad 1 512mb - if u open more than 2 tabs of heavy duty sites with the safari browser - then u switch back to other tabs, it'll refresh cos not enuf memory...so our TF is considered good liao tongue.gif

I agree that 600mb is more than enough for my usage. I wonder what kind of services that uses such huge amount of RAM. I guess autokiller or similar app can adjust the minimum free RAM for me.

Anyway, I'm getting one this christmas rclxm9.gif
