i tested the mx player with 720p, got sound and picture, but not so smooth when playing

Did you try using Xilisoft HD converter to convert your video file to MP4?

Usually 720p expect around 24 fps to 30 fps. I've no problem enjoying video clips or drama using MX video.

Usually i play K-drama via MX Player files like XVID or AVI @ 450p with subtitle SRT. no issue at all.

Guys, weird, I just got another firmware update.... I updated mine last week, and another today? Not sure if it fixes anything...

i online search, they said DicePlayer can play and smooth.

most if not all of us know about dice player but the problem with dice player is two things:

1) Its not FREE
2) You can play the videos smoothly but some of the more "complex" scenes are still laggy for a while and then its fine. If Dice player can solve these issues i'd gladly pay the money for it.

That's why i'm not spending my worth cents on Dice Player since it still lacks. I rather waste a little time, get it converted to MP4 via XiliSoft HD converter and use MX video player to play it. Won't lag that is obvious and frustrating.

Besides i've tried playing MKV large file via portable HDD on DICE, either you wait long.. or force close.

suggest u ask shops around. RRP is still 1799 with dock and 1499 without dock i believe...again like i said, ask the retailers they should give u a clearer idea on what's the price now. most of us bought it almost half a year ago, price changes in time..

I tried bsplayer lite lately and the hw decoding have 2 type , 1 is using device engine the other is using their own engine. I find that complex scene in 720p that gave problem to dice is as smooth as it can be in bsplayer lite. Pretty nice player with many options as well.

My TF is stuck in a boot loop. Was viewing a jpeg file before. Docked. Closed the lid. Next time I open I find that it's stuck in a boot loop. Turned it off with power + volume up. Restarted it but its in the loop again. Stock TF, no root. Latest firmware. Any solutions?

Wild shot , try booting without dock ? Or boot without microsd ?

Tried without dock. Never had microsd inserted.

Added on November 15, 2011, 7:10 amDid a data wipe. Didn't use Asus backup app before this. But I remember selecting the option for Google to backup my apps or something. How do I restore it? In the Market under My Apps I only see like 3 apps that was previously installed. Does free apps not get listed?
