720p, 1080p movies play PERFECTLY on my transformer - be it mp4 or mkv.

but the file has to be playable on ps3 or xbox 360. meaning to say that the encoded file has to be xbox360 compliant.

or just get the "qebs fasm" encoded files. they work wonderfully.

or 540p rips still look good on the screen with barely/rarely noticeable artefacts on the video.


and they're still not selling the prime in beijing

Considering that the Transformer Prime comes with Tegra 3, ICS, super thin chasis, improved battery life,etc..

with the dock is around 2k plus d and that is bloody expensive liao

I tot old TF without dock is 1499 and with dock 1799... 1.5 for tablet only still same with the old one... wait long enuff and u can get cheaper tf1 when tf2 arrive...

but dunno worth to get it now or not....since transformer 2 is way out of my league while transformer 1 is outdated but price is still ok for....

perhaps a second hand transformer 1 is best suited for me?

not sure what you mean by no choice but there are heaps of android tablet(be it 7" to 10") with different spec, UI, price,manufactures,etc..
