There is high chances you're facing the same problem i had. Best you send it back for replacement.

My case was, if in sleep mode, it can wake easily. But if the tablet is shutdown, it won't boot up unless being power driven by USB cable powered or docking keyboard. I got it replaced and it works now (touch wood!)

Anyway sifu, is there any better MP4 video converter for 720p than SUPER? i've tried Super converter but video seems boxy... not smooth surface. I've use DiVX... there some video is choppy and there is smooth.

i was using Handbrake before i started using Dice Player(that can run most 720p well), it's not bad

I have a friend with Asus Transformer, but the adapter KO so sent if for warranty.

Can we use other form of USB device to charge? Say a USB slot from power adapter, or iPad charger?

yes u can, but u must not use ur tablet when u charge it, screen must be off... some forumer tested it worked, but takes too long to charge a full cycle... i suggest maybe power off it to charge, that might be faster..

dice player has puglin to be installed for tegra 2 devices. if u dont install, u will get force closed.

try handbrake or format factory

You can get smooth but the video will still shudder a bit..i couldn't find any configuration that works without making the video shudder..maybe you can check out the guide at XDA forums

Well I manage to get smooth rather boxy image. Most of the file success still stutter albeit. I'm not using dice but MX player (like the interface easy to use)

Funny thing, GOMTV encoded MTV works perfect for 720p! I don't have to convert it since it's done by GOMTV(Korea). I've tried play SNSD Hoot 720p which is around 244MB, works flawless!

Guess I've to find a perfect setting bit rate. The main goal is to play with video bit rate and audio. Perhaps 128kbps audio might reduce it.

Don't worry about the ads. It only pop up when you pause it. Small size ads.

I wonder why Tegra2 lose to A4 chip. Both is 1GHz but TG2 have dual core! The same clip, played on TF101 choppy but iPhone 4 plays it flawless. Tonight have search again the perfect setting.

I think because that is because Tegra 2 did not include NEON in its arm processor design. All iPhone especially Cortex-A8, A4 and A5 has it.

So I guess Tegra2 is at it peak Performance in which won't able to play 720p or even 1080p at it's best level.
