I already download the new firmware and try to install but it failed at android logo, and then it automaticly restored my tf to previous firmware.

Now when i try to check for update, it's says no update available. What to do?

i think this option is not really new, i initially thought it is to completely turn off the keyboard but apparently i believe its the option to enable or disable the onscreen keyboard when docked. this option was there already before 3.2 but it doesnt appear sometimes..quite buggy..but not really necessary to me

i thought it is to totally turn off the keyboard dock, that will save a lot of battery!

they should have included a hard switch on the dock to cut power coming from the battery.

its always safe to have an 'off' switch to anything...

Guys ,

really envy you guys playing around with your transformer.I went to replace my unit on the yellow tint screen issues and end up the replacement unit B7 are affected with yellow tint as well . so suspect all B7 are having the same issues.

Have to wait for B8 or look around for b6 if i am lucky.

not sure what u meant, but Prime is always rooted

and to berry, if you dunno what is root, that means you don't need it yet. And no, root is not the passage to pirated apps. For pirated apps, u can ask mr google, lyn doesnt allow discussion of it ..

like jailbreak except for cracked apps... cracked apps already can be installed without rooting, that's all i can say over here

anyway rooting is something like removing a security restriction layer of the OS, it let u access all the system files. With root access u can perform changes to system files like sound config, which is used to fix the shy speaker issue. there are also other apps that require root to work properly, like titanium backup, setCPU, etc etc... basically just think of it like opening a larger possibility for u to do stuffs with ur device. Cracked apps is never the reason for android users to root

i guess he means rooting is possible on the new updated version of the firmware... i think this one can still use the 3.2 rooting method to do that. I installed CWM and wasnt able to install the update available since yesterday... it's just option for changing cursor and option to disable the keyboard dock?
