So I take Asus EEE Pad Transformer instead after test SGSTab 10.1 last saturday. Somehow it make up my mind, I dun mind Transformer being heavy or thick, I just like the spec its offer and bang for bucks.

I root my B7O using One-Click Universal root for stock firmware - V4 from xda. I root it because i wanna use ad-hoc wifi. But, it's for stock only. If you didnt's install CWM, i think you can upgrade to the latest firmware.

To check whether your B7O can be rooted or not. dustynoff method

I root using this method (Stock Firmware only). One-Click Universal (Linux) Boot using pendrive.

suggest u email the seller or mention it in the thread he is selling and please give us the link so that we are warned not to buy the case for now until the seller provides a proper explanation.

* keyboard lag <-- do they recognise this as an official issue?!?
* shy speakers <-- again, i wonder if asus is acknowledging this as an official issue.

Yes no mention of those two, perhaps for keyboard lag they are still working on it just that no announcement? Shy speakers not everyone facing this issue i guess, so if say they tweak the settings it'll affect everyone even those without the shy speakers problem, so would that end up those who have no speaker issues have an imbalance speaker instead? Or are you referring to the loudness of the speakers in general? Again, no news from ASUS on this..perhaps we should start emailing them and see what they say

the magnets on both the flap and the body, will it affect the TF ?

from what i understand... the shy speakers is a coding error...

perhaps its just that some roms (different regions) have been coded and compiled separately... so some get the problem?

also, i think shy speakers is an issue that unless people really pay attention, otherwise they dun notice it. i've not gone and really tested it... but i am fairly certain my unit has shy speakers (sometimes can hear sound coming from only one side). i dun really notice it coz i do hear sounds -- not sure if you understand what i mean... lol...

anyway, most ppl probably is like me... got sound = speakers fine. but actual fact is... there might be shy speaker issue.

Dear all Transformers,

I am the newest transformer and I need to learn a lot of things with all the seniors here. First of all I would like to have a handwriting ime install into my X'mer. Are there any ime's supporting this X'mer?
Second question, today also the first day I make wifi connection to my company line and the signal shows very week, whereas my laptop connection is very strong. Why?
Thirdly, please do recommend some productivity apps as I use the X'mer for my works.

I had the same issue as yours a couple of week back. I had send it to Asus Royal Club(Imbi Plaza) for repair. I got back my dock exactly one week. Now, my dock dont have battery drain issue anymore. So far, been monitoring my battery issue, no more drain, for tablet and also for the dock.

test the wifi in McD or something, maybe your AP is not compatible.

TF does not implement the full range wireless-N mode so it might have issues with N capable routers.

would be just the antenna in the gadget (TF) not big enuff.

i face the same thing at home with my TF and SGS2. the notebook can detect my home wifi with almost full bar. but the TF and SGS2 can only detect about 1 bar.

AP = Access Point... meaning the wireless router/ modem.

not compatible... i guess buy a different brand.

Wow where you get the transformer with this price, searching around and I still get RM1799 with docking......
