Do you guys happen to know whether it actually voids warranty to open up the casing and change the RAMs?
I have checked this with the Service Chat Staff on the Website and they mentioned just by doing so actually voids their Warranty. Wondering how true that is.

There are no seal. Doing it yourself might void the warranty. So just pandai-pandai, take out the ram and restore back to original conditions before your warranty claim.

I even take out the heatsink and upgrade the heat paste myself.

No - its not Honda lol. Thinkpad are easily upgradable. It's a business laptop , they know that on-site support place can open up and DIY

That's why you can find the parts easily. There is no any stickers , they can't simply void

Ours is enterprise/professional laptop - not consumer grade. People buy thinkpad because they can be easily replaced

Useful info about thinkpad keyboard. Seems Lite-on 459 got the best tactile feeling

I need to anticipate this.

To whom did you escalate this issue to? Customs? Shipping company? Lenovo?

And which channels, how do i contact them?

Last time I email their Malaysia customer service. Once you saw the status is stuck at custom. I also have an E585 coming in next Monday, hopefully won't stuck for too long.

Bro, I’m planning to get a thinkpad X60, a very old model, refurbished. Only using it for paperwork (,excel, ppt,), some light surfing and YouTube. No gaming. Do u all think it’s worth it? It cost around 250.

X60 is very very old , not recommended to get it and it's overpriced for RM 250
