Got a fairly good reading on FC now cruising at 90km/hr. consumption figures is about 5.3L/100km @ 2050RPM while 130km/hr figures is around 6.6L/100km @ 2300RPM. Nice empty highway along LATAR can get nice figures.

QUOTE(kepalapening @ Aug 22 2012, 07:05 AM) Kangar-kl 6 hours non stop rm75. Last time being berhemah it's only rm60. How u expect ppl to calculate when ure the one who knows the distance travelled? Not everything can Google la friend especially when nobody knows your actual start and ending points. Is it tol to tol, house to house, etc? Duration of travel doesnt help in fuel consumption readings. Kl-grik-kb 12 hours rm85. Calc yourself for Km/L. I use ron95 rm1.9/L. Anyway, FC readings you have provided before already. Your photo showed about 11km/L which equates to about 9L/100km travelling between 90-140kmph between KL & Kangar with your eco light on. Am i right? But what ive been asking you many times is the actual full tank mileage for 100% city driving which for some reason u just dont wanna give. I wonder why. QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Aug 22 2012, 09:13 AM) It's about 2100RPM or so. FC is quite respectable at 5.8 ~ 6.3L/100km@ 130km/hr - it's about 2300RPM and FC is alternating around 6.6L/100km ~ 7.1L/100km. I reckon if I engage cruise control, the FC figures should drop and hover around a lower figure. |

But i think the cruise control will give you slightly higher readings not lower since the engine will try and maintain the set speed at all times.@ 130km/hr - it's about 2300RPM and FC is alternating around 6.6L/100km ~ 7.1L/100km. QUOTE(kepalapening @ Aug 22 2012, 07:05 AM) Yap, the Passat with A reg number. K5 not sure. It's not a difficult thing to do, the next time you go to a petrol station and pump petrol. Write down the km travelled in trip A. it should be 600 or 700+ if you zero your trip meter at every fillup. Then look at your receipt and note down the gas up pumped in. You give us those figures, we can calculate how good your FC isAdded on August 22, 2012, 7:11 am Kangar-kl 6 hours non stop rm75. Last time being berhemah it's only rm60. Kl-grik-kb 12 hours rm85. I just happened to check out the facelift Hyundai Sonata and it seems that the new units all come with automatic dampers in addition to other add-on's. Is this true? I dont think its same as adaptive suspension but maybe close?

Yeah but it more or less let you know what kind of ballpark figures you can expect and estimated mileage when you drive. It's not strange to estimate roughly how much distance you can travel looking at your fuel tank and consumption info, I do that fairly often just to try to lower my FC in city driving. |

In my experience, the actual Average FC could be almost double of Instant FC. So if your IFC giving you 6 liter/100km, in actual fact, you could be expecting 10 to 12 liter/100km instead. That is far off the ballpark figure.Though I don't drive the Camry but if it can indeed give you those 10 - 12 liter figure, you should be jumping up for joy already in city. In reality, I don't think that is possible. My 2 sen. |
