LG optimus 2x is a much better buy, ori only RM1700 and the specs r better than this, except for the screen size, but it's not a big difference between 4.2" and 4", and i prefer the 4" because it's much easier to use with one hand

Galaxy S 2 at 2099 is quite a surprise already. According to my friend, price of flagship smartphones are at an all time low. Flagships used to start off at close to RM3K (think HTC HD2 when first launched: http://www.mobilehornet.com/archives/3227). Now we have them starting to tumble.

So it wouldn't surprise me if the Galaxy Z be priced at 1.6K or even 1.5K. Though 1.7 is a realistic price to expect. It won't be another month till the thing appears on market anyway.

To go back even further, the HTC Touch HD was launched at a price of RM3399 in 2008! http://www.mobilehornet.com/archives/1821 We have come so far!!

trust x173255, he is very expert in handphone. the $600+ is the price based on Europe wan. normally Europe phone much much more higher if compare to the rest of the phone plus they have the VAT thingy some more.
I also believe that the price would be something like RM1500-1600.

no point argue how much now. so just wait n see. haha

hi, I see alot of ppl don't want to get contract phone, why?

bcause if this phone is at 1.6k then almost same price with maxis 12 months contract for sgs 2.

ppl dont want contract juz bcoz it will burden u if u wish to terminate ur contract.... u must pay penalty if u wish to terminate it early....

and if u do calculate you will see there is no much different if u take juz the phone compare to u take phone + package that seems to expensive.... nowadays many people got postpaid plan on their hand that they comfort with that plan....

in the other way if u got phone + package that price of the phone more than 50% and u r not the type of people that quickly change phone so frequently and u also never mind to tied on contract for 2 years i think u r ok with that contract package....

anyhow nowadays many people got itchy hand if they saw new phone that got a lot new features on it very want to change their phone to new one will not consider to take this phone package....

dis wan no super amoled screen, and a slightly lousier processor at 1ghz compared to 1.2 for sgs2

neway i can say that for the specs of dis phone, its exactly the same as LG optimus 2x, same tegra 2 processor, gpu n a LCD screen instead of s-amoled, BUT a lousier camera at 5mp n 720p compared to 8mp n 1080p for optimus 2x........

so i guess optimus 2x wil b a beter choice if dis phone is priced roughly the same or more xpensive than optimus2x........

If u don't want a shock, then sign up for Digi SmartPlan... the smart plan for smartphones.

You only pay RM68 a month for data. U can use up to 3Gb, then after that they will slow down your speed but no more extra charge.

So u don't have to worry about checking how much data u have used. Myself... my max I have ever used is 1.5Gb a month.

It's hard to find this phone at Lowyat also..but there is. sellers there already got their catalogs and this model on their supplier list. btw, i went it around 10th or 11th of November. cant remember..

but I can't understand why sellers at lowyat not recomend this phone instead..I asked about this phone and they like treating Galaxy R is much worse than Galaxy S+ and W..

by the way I also can't believe the AP set is priced at RM1100..but the price RM1399 for original SME seem firm enought to believe. maybe the AP set for this phone's price is around same as Galaxy S+ Original price.

I just bought a SGR yesterday.. RM one three something from lowyat plaza..

I did asked Samsung official shop at level 1.. and they said SGR is not coming to Malaysia market officially.. (or that guy just tok kok like always coz too many customers to entertain )
