Been using the galaxy tab for a few days. Upgraded to GB the day I received out.still on stock rom and very happy with it.

Use it as a backup phone for a number that I have been using for the past ten years. Now haver all calls forwarded to my new number. Used to carry an iphone, blackberry and was looking for a tablet. Now galaxy tab replaced my iphone and tablet.still keeping my blackberry because of company requirement.that is the perfect combination for me.

Galaxy tab user here. I have a problem - my battery life seems very short. Like about 5-6 hours use + standby after fully charged. I wonder if this is normal? Can someone advise?

plse check what apps u dont really use...initially u may kill you wifi, if u r not using it...check for background running apps, as well...u dont need u dont use....kill it.

I'm on Overcome Jupiter (Gingerbread) rom. Is there any guide to change back to stock samsung gingerbread rom? I found overcome jupiter eats my battery quite fast. Any help would be appreciated. TQVM.

The data connection on my tab seems to b nt too stable. Tend to be down and stuff from time to time. Im using digi smart plan btw.

it only happens on DiGi, i dunno why, i have tried both JPZ and JPD modem and they are both the same.

Hi there,i just replaced my battery at SME service center PJ. Now everything works fine. But for those under SME warranty, and facing battery problem, just bring ur tab to service center. They replace for new one. Only applicable for 6 month and less.

got lots of shop around in lowyat and sg wang plaza selling casing. or you can look around garage sales section. also got some forumer selling the casing.

Digi is the culprit.
I always have problem when I am in Office (28th Floor) in Center of KL.
Switching between Edge & 3G, drop calls & worst...something no Data Connection at all.
Now, I tuck my Galaxy Tab with U Mobile Broadband while I am in Office, I share Wifi Tether for my Galaxy S2 - disable Digi crappy data.
But when I am outside, 3G works ok...damn.

I'm also facing similar probs ... my fully charged battery seem to last about 1.5 days with lil' bit of use now & then (mainly email checking 3G, a little browing, most of the time just stand-by only). My tab is about 3-4 weeks old, using Celcom broadband service.

Anyone on gingerbread (except cm7) experiencing Android System process drain after closing certain apps? I get this after playing Colloseum.

I use Watchdog to monitor. The process steadies at around 20% CPU. Nothing can be done except to reboot.

I saw similar threads on this from sgs and sgs2 forums. They call this the Android OS bug?

hi all. i just downloaded the papago x5 from the website given in the first page by uncle benny. thank you very much for the link

i managed to download and change the settings to wide screen but i need help to get a complete english "sound" file as when i try to transfer that particular file to my tabby, it sort like 'hang'. it works for other languages like hk cantonese and malay. but i prefer guidance in english.

please advice and how long could i use the x5 "trial" basis? any updated link to update maps for trial version?

besides that, need advice on car charger and tabby holder.. where can i get a reasonable set and what's the market price now?
