Hello there, I have a wifi version of the galaxy tab (p1010), I got from a foto shangrila looking store and I am just wondering whether I would be getting an update from the froyo to something better?

I have been following the galaxy tab forum and no one seems to pick up what I am asking. Probably they are thinking that I am a troll due to the low number of posts but I hope someone could help me here. Thanks in advance!

After updating Tab to Gingerbread, I can't get the Tab to function as a USB drive. Anyone here knows how to re-enable that option?

Firstly i wish to say kudos and good job to the guys here for the knowledge and assistance given to us noobs.

I bought my ori sgt from lyp last month and yesterday rooted and flashed based on the instructions to the t. i am on oc 1.6.4. and noticed the difference. cool. anything better or latest?

question...why cant i see the 3g data thingy when i try to download using broadband (celcom). the connection at my place is fine. wifi seems ok. is there anything else i have left out during or after flashing. are there more settings to be carried out/changed? market is also different....sudah takut sikit....

My orig questions were:



1. the screen kind of changes from bright to dim, by itself every now & then. i thought it was something to do with the light sensor > maybe when my hand blocks the light sensor, the screen gets dimmer? anyone else experience this?

2. How to do the personalisation on the opening screen ... where is says This phone belongs to ....? I've looked thru all the settings, etc, cannot find that.

3. Although my time is set correctly (I can see the correct time at the top right corner) ... but in the World Clock, if I set one for KL, I get the wrong time. Why?

4. I also got a 16GB SD Card new from the same shop ... but when I try to read the card in my PC via the SD adaptor, I get a mesg saying the card is not formatted. Neither can I format the card on the PC.

5. I then tried to connect the Tab to my laptop. Again I get an error saying cannot connect. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone can help me on built in email client? Why if i delete email in tab , the email in server also deleted. How to keep email in the server? Any setting?

Nah... we don't merajuk that easily! New ROM coming out... should be out within the next 15-20mins or less

But as you noticed, some people think that we owe them everything... ;-)

What were the steps you took for dxjpe on Odin? The fw is from samfirmware?
