Been using my TAB for 2 weeks now. Upgrade to GB immediately after I bought it by sending to Samsung SC. Took only 10 minutes. Tried to do it by myself using KIES but always stuck.

I was in doubt about buying it becoz of new TAB coming out.. and really2 waiting for 7" honeycomb. But no sign of it... While I'm sure it will come out, I can't wait. I'm using stock GB not even rooted. Not a geek type.

All I can say, this gadget is a bless to me. My new job somehow communicate through email through microsoft exchange server a lot. So all my work schedule (email, meeting, etc) are suddenly on my fingertip. With the tab portability, I'm just like carrying a normal diary instead of carrying my laptop.

how u upgrade to gb? i can find the way to upgrade. still in froyo now.

send to samsung service center... or if you install KIES (come with your tab or u can download from samsung website), connect your tab to your pc (installed KIES and got internet connection) then update...

i think i will go to berjaya to upgrade it.
sweat big time coz cant find the way in the setting. mostly found fw upgrade there.

reading uncle benny's comment, i second that. me too very satisfied with my stock rooted GB dxjpe. it rocks..

as u said, GB is better than froyo..
used froyo for 3 days then updated to GB..

if u want to upgrade to gingerbread there is 2 ways

1) u using the not so good official ways usimg samsung kies that many people stuck when they want to upgrade

2) u using odin to upgrade ur tab...

however there is another option brong ur tab to sc to uograde

I charge my TAB as I depleted the battery yesterday.

After 3 and a half hours of charging, it only managed to be half full. Is this normal?

As I never charge it from fresh before wondering is it just my set or....

how do i reset to original firmware?
everytime i upgrade new firmware it become laggier.
now gingerbread is like shit.

you need to restock that means flash from fresh to stock rom, clear cache's and then falsh gain to custom rom after kernel.

hi, i cannot find this info on 1st page, does galaxy tab use normal sim card or micro sim card like ipad 3g?

Use normal simcard only.

am on jupiter rom....jpz modem....so far hasn't been givin any issue related....darn smooth....fast.
