M50 ram slow is at the bottom

I'm thinking of getting the Toshiba Tecra M5. Does anyone know whether it's possible to just buy the kingston ram from computer shops and upgrade myself? TIA.

Of course it's possible.

I meant like compatibility issues that sort. I read in another thread saying Toshiba uses KTT ram instead of KVR ram. How good is KTT ram? I am trying to decide whether to upgrade the ram through Toshiba. Thanks.

just bought a toshiba m100, sounds like a great buy for the price

just ordered a toshiba tecra m5.. joining the club soon.

just playing around with the satelite m100, im curious about the dvd-ram drive, wonder where can i get a piece to use

i think shops that sell dvd recorders will have it.

finally received my Tecra M5 after 10 days wait. officially joining the club now!

i didn't 'specially' order, just 'ordinary' order. when i enquired on the NEC E6210 at House of Noteooks, was told need to wait for 1-2 weeks too.

i just b laptop M100/200 got 1 dead pixel,and toshiba don want to exchange for me.they say atleast 6 dead pixels or more only they change for me..wat can i do now?

hehe,problem solve already..i exchange the laptop today.i report to consumer tribunal and then the HARVEY NORMAN manager afraid with that and let me change.but look like this model got many problem...coz the seller give me first 3 laptop also got dead pixel and mine is fouth laptop already...very shame lo,let him take so many laptop..but i am happy now,very satisfied with my first laptop..

Hi guy, my toshiba L20 encounter the problem on touchpad. Lappie is now not with me, I now in aussie but lappie in Thailand

My little bro said the can move pointer by using touchpad but cant enter any file or folder by tapping on touchpad like before.

between toshiba satellite M100-2011E and A100-2212E ... which 1 better ? the price not much diff only .. why ar ? anyone can explain to me what is the diff of FSB 533 Mhz and 667Mhz ?
