I think u can check ur warranty status online by visiting toshiba ap website..... this will help u to ensure whether ur lappie covered by warranty......

hi guys, im using M100-P340 with the GMA 950. May i know is there anyway to control the VRAM to 128MB? Coz i saw my frenz Acer laptops can do that in the BIOS. THx.

U cant adjust it in BIOS?..... my toshiba lappie is ATI which i can adjust directly from BIOS....

In some case, some lappie need to have certain amont of RAM to adjust GMA to 128.... e.g. like 512MB of ram....

Just my opinion ya......Anyone plz correct me if i wrong

yup, that's wat i mean. Although mine not ATI, but it should have this setting in BIOS. Wat can i do? Coz really need that extra 64mb to make it 128mb. Thx Chee.

coz since he is Toshiba notebook... so i think toshiba user may can help me up oso

my fren own a Toshiba notebook... but recently can connect to internet but can't surt internet

using his acc on my notebook... everything is fine
so i suspect is the virus or spymare/malware

if i really can't clean up the virus, etc, so i plan to help him format the notebook
but his notebook come with the original license key but don have the CD.
so how??

can i using the Toshiba Recovery CD can format the notebook??
or use the recovery cd to back to the fresh winXP like the new one?

Hi all my fellow frenz... I am Satellite M40 user..
Nowadays my laptop has got many problem loo...no warranty some more liao..
Main problem is
1. my speaker breaks no matter how small the volume is.
2. the hard disk got sound like "tik tik tik" when i open applications
3. it is so hot on the left hand side, i dunno whether it is normal o not.

Anyone has experienced these b4?

It is a cd packaged with win xp home edition with toshiba drivers included.
It will give u the original toshiba layout when u first time bought it if u use it to format ur machine.

1st my toshiba speaker is normal but very soft although i adjust it to the max...
2nd. I heard sound tik tik sometime but not that noisy and often..however, always heard this on my dell.... guess shld be normal
3rd. My toshiba quite hot after open for few hours...may b bec it is celeron laptop.... and always put it in aircon room... but so far never exp hang bec of heat before....

Im currently using L20 ...... ram slot is under my lappie....however, my previous old old toshiba is under keyboard (only 1 slot)....... need to remove keyboard and modem before install ram...........

Im not sure abt ur model m50 where ram allocated.... jus wan to share experiences of using toshiba.... i mean it is possible that ram could be under keyboard.....
