the latest range of Toshiba model has extremely farking bad LCD quality, almost on par with cheapass brands like BenQ, Hyundai etc in term of fuzziness. I recently bought the Portege M500 and is extremely farking pissed now due to the amount of light leakage. am also farking pissed to discover that Portege M500 is not originally a Portege model at all in advanced markets like US and Japan. It is rebadged version of Toshiba Satellite U205-S5002, which was also called Toshiba Tecra M6-EZ6611 in certain countries. Both featured higher specs than the farking local version of the so-called Portege M500, with Duo Core 1.66, 100Gig harddisk and Microsofty Office Professional as the lowest specs of the model and to add insult to injury, its prices are at least RM1000 cheaper even with the additional 3 year warranty added in.

I feel that I have been farking exploited by Toshiba Asia in this respect and that Toshiba Asia is deeply and genuinely shortchanging Asian customers. I am disgusted.

I m planning to buy M100-P341 cos now got a promotion of free 300 petrol voucher n scratch n win contest. I hv asked the shop they said ll replace the 300 voucher by directly deduct 300 from the price. Is this machine a good buy?

where do you planning to purchase the laptop? i would recommend you go direct teledynamics, i believe they r able to give fair price + free gifts as they r the distributor.

i bought a toshi-notbook 6 months ago..but i forgot to send the warrenty card back to toshiba office at singapore.. in case my laptop broke down....will i get a valid warrenty?

i have registered my toshiba which bought abt 4 months ago online ya...i think if u do either ways then shld be fine......if havnt i think still no prob, i think still can register..... but just ur warranty will be cover from ur date of purchase....
