gonna quit fitness first the next time i go there (tomorrow). found another gym with awesome equipments. corner lot shophouse and 2 levels, one dedicated for weights alone. and they have 50kg db's (wtf).
hmm, this brings me back to when a PT called me saying since its my birthday i get a free training session. btw i never got one since i started membership with FF. i hesitated for a while, and agreed to a session. wouldn't hurt i suppose. the PT then arranges for a time, on which i agreed, was my normal training time anyways.
few days after that he calls again and asks me to reschedule as he "cant make it" on that day? Ehhh, w/e you are the one who set the date right? Never heard from him again lol... Weird stuff.
lol, they are too performance oriented instead of customer focus, so too bad, tats their KPI. The golden hair guy might be reading this forum, he trimmed his ugly hair, but still looks ugly. lol hehe, when i first join, i have 2 free session plus another 4 session from their so call promotion. But in the end i forfeit all the 6 sessions, but yeah like kaspersky-fan said, they will keep bugging u to give them ur free session and sign up for more, it is just plain annoying.
my workouts now: monday-chest tues-back wed-shoulders thurs-legs fri-chest
workin chest twice a week nw....to enhance my lagging/weak body part...
kinda weird workout since you'll be hitting chest on friday, rest during weekends and chest again monday? and not gonna slot arms in any of those days?
chill guys, not everyone is informed when they start out. i wasnt doing legs for a good 6 months when i started out lifting weights. didnt think it mattered since i usually wear long pants anyways. knee pain too.
i think it was when i saw my pics during a beach holiday and read up on the fact that doing legs actually releases a lot of GH which contributes greatly to growth that i started doing them.
same thing for compounds, think i only started after a year of lifting consistently
nuff said. pants split during 9th set of squats, around rep 5. did till 10 and further split them. decided to be a hardcore shit and proceeded with my final set. when the first rep split it even wider i gave up lol. didnt have replacement pants and walking back to my car through the mall with torn up pants like that was bad enough. good thing i had a big sling bag to hide it.
ruined my workout though, was totally in the zone doing GVT squats.
Because instead of saying X + Y + Z = A, you just spit it out and say 325lbs. So much simpler, no?

It's personal preference IMO. Don't matter to me. If one is speaking plates to me, I speak plates back, If one is speaking weight to me, I speak weight back.
why you guys so concern about the number of weights?
sloppy form, bad technique, body looked like anythings but a bodybuilder, but proud of the poundage hoisted?
seen alot of these dudes around my local gym... with the same body each and every years, can benched, rows, presses twice what i can lift... but somehow, stay the farking same for the last ten years....
Because poundages DO mattter. You ain gonna get big if you're not gonna add weights. Imo weights lifted take a very close second to form. You can have perfect form, but with too light a weight its still not gonna matter, too.
i do mentioned crappy form right? lifting big with half reps half motions aint gonna do d!ck to your progress, believe me, i been there... benching half way and expect your pecs to grow brah?
yes, i agreed with the weight lifted are pretty important too, but it should falls on number three, form and mind muscles connection are both 1 and 2... wat i dont know is how deep is your understanding in bodybuilding... if going to gym for ten years but learn nothing about your body is just epic fail.... "its not how much you can lift, its how much you looked you can lift" - Bob Cicherillo
dude, end of they day we're just saying the same thing haha. we both agree crappy form isnt gonna do shit, and poundages matter. i dont see whats the argument is about. and imo is your form is decent you're gonna hit your targeted muscles, mind muscle connection is just something you acquire with experience. dont expect a newbie to understand all that
man how i want to do this. am especially impressed with the guy in the white shirt at 0.40 - 0.45 and the one with the long sleeved checkered navy shirt
Am in ff menara axis, really nice place. Not lacking equipments, and way bigger compared to the platinum one in klang. I'm beginning to suspect they made aeon jusco branch to be a platinum club as a selling point. This place hands down is better!
same here, my cardio consists of basketball games 1-2 times per week. treadmilling is just plain boring!
edit: had bloodwork done a few weeks ago. cholesterol levels are at normal ranges, which was surprising since i was expecting it to be shooting through the roof. looks like i can still eat 7-8 eggs with yolks everyday without any worries..omnomnom
