That claim need to be reassessed. I'm sitting in the TCR now and all I could hear is some foreign middle eastern language. It's could be so overwhelming you would even doubt if you're still in Malaysia.  hmm.gif
*
LOL Even among Malaysians you can hear the Chinese speaking chinese among themselves, Malay speaking Malay among them and Indian speaking tamil among them. Whatever makes for effective communication will be used.

hey guys thats studying in UNMC, im planning to take engineering here after my visit to facon education fair today, btw, i just wanna ask is the lecturers here friendly or very strict, as i know the head of engineering is a women, and im afraid that shes 'fierce' lol
*
Friendly when you approach them, strict when assessing you. I guess that's to be expected? Takkan you want to enter a university where the lecturers simply give marks meh...

Don't take lecturers who speak little words make you feel they are arrogant. They just use less words to say the same thing. And they're probably rushing to the next lecture or something.

Wait, head of engineering a woman? Who? All the heads I know are angmoh uncles. Maybe foundations studies or something la. We do have a population of female lecturers. Anyway the gender of a lecturer shouldn't make an impact.

^The people who spoilt it are retards. Still can't comprehend how a perfectly fine computer can end up in such a state of cannot-be-used-ness.

They need to solve the log in duration. Another batch of students have graduated by the time I logged in.

If you all have the chance, go check out the computer labs in Blue building first floor. You'll know how great the computer is before - so clean and the mouse click and keyboard tap also sounds much much more crispier. Glad that it's my last year here!

^Dang there goes exclusivity for engineering students.

Dei was at your GDP presentation the other day. Why you use UNO in video when in the slides you say you using Mega?

The 'House For Rent' here refers to University-arranged accomodation or private one?

And i will be finishing my foundation in June 2012, when is the best time to start looking for houses to rent. Any guidelines on this matter?

Probably are those by university one - which means super high rental.

Anytime you find comfortable? I will suggest you get together a group of friends, 4-5 so that you all can find houses to rent, instead of rooms.

^First time seeing this. But from what I understand this is not intended for post-SPM. If you think it's for post-SPM, no it isn't because the requirements are Pre-U qualifications. It's not the same as a conventional post-SPM Pre-U in the sense that it assumes prior Pre-U knowledge.

From what I understand, it is intended for people who have completed a an undergraduate degree, and intend to take up a second degree but thinks he needs some prep work done before fully exposed to the full undergraduate course. Maybe like someone who did chemical engineering and intend to take up one of the computer science courses, so can take this PUP and prepare for some basic computing lessons.

To answer you question, no, this is not like foundation of science, because to be accepted you need a Pre-U certificate, and will not be accepted if you only have SPM to show.
Yes, if you take this, you can start your degree in September.

It's for those who finish A-Level at Dec but must wait for Sept intake. Then they take you 1.5k, let you walk around the campus, attend some preparation lessons so that you are better equipped for the degree.
