normally i will download manually and update over SD card, because many times it will failed OTA. current Malaysia version is Acer_A500_7.006.03_COM_GEN1

have some readings on how to update, also backup if can. BTW, no root for 3.2 yet, if you need root for some changes or software, you may want to wait long or get custom 3.2 rom with rom.

Me myself quite regret after official update, and this new update also causes my unit screen auto wake up and stay until battery drains, only can temporary solve it with turning off wireless before i sleep the device. Maybe it caused by some rooted softwares but after update 3.2 with no root conflicts.
There is a downgrade guide from 3.2 back to 3.1 also, will do that if no root soon...

I believe they will ask you reset, like I say

It came to me to go into accounts and sync. I looked at it for a moment then clicked my google account and top right clicked remove account. On starting market after wiping market app cache it asked me to log in with password (which it didn't before) that was it, job done!!! Google account restored on tablet and market working great for a good few days now

does anyone here experience frequent disconnect of your house wifi?what happen is my tablet alway reconnect automatically few times then no more connection.from my setting,is say my wifi disabled and i need to reconnect manually..any help?

very annoying indeed,
contacted service center,they say better to send the unit down there for them to check

limcz,do you root your tablet?because i found out that original rom doesnt have such thing...

i tried custom rom 3.2 taboonay,
the problem is very frequent
then i reverse it back to my original ROM using the back up i made b4 flahsing custom ROM,
the problem occurs lesser,but it still happens,just not as frequent as when it is on custom ROM

Try use Thor ROM Revolver v5. Stable and fast.
O.C to 1.6 and no problem with battery life nor overheating.

On my experience, all stock launcher no matter what version, lag will be there

I wipe factory data,wipe cache and David,
Then install it thru SD card.

Can it be o.c? Won't dmg the processor??

ha, maybe old news, but Skype in Acer A500 video call was supported in the latest version, just need to enable video in option, since 30 Sep. didnt notice that until saw some posts in XDA =D

I think the mic reception is errrr below par...

I use it with talkbox and my voice was like robot...

It is something to do with the firmwsre,I tried taboonay 3.2ho the mic very clear
