start from July.. the name "Ovi" will be slowly out.. by the year 2012... Nokia will totally wipe the name "OVI"
donno what name yet as I know... maybe it will call "Elop Store"...
Added on June 23, 2011, 6:33 pm Don't worry.. I lot of Anti-M$ trying to save MeeGo... I go support a bit.. at least this look promising rather than the outdated/rubbish Symbian..
Good idea.In case Elop got fired at least there will be something to remember Elop's tenure as CEO.
Nah...Nothing will help MeeGo in Nokia because Elop is hell bend on killing MeeGo. Just look forward for Nokia's WP7.
Elop said that some of innovation in N9 will be used in Nokia's WP7 device.I assume it'll be phone design only because if I remember correctly during the February 9th presentation he mentioned that Nokia won't modify the WP7 UI's even though they legally can.

That's what I said from the start, too many fruit style. No homescreen, any smartphone OS have no homescreen? The "switch" is iOS style? The background colour (grey-white), totally no relatation with it's parents or sibling or relatives (Symbian), it feels more iOS-ish.
come come.patent war.

MeeGo supports uboot (kinda like GRUB) so it is possible to use 2 OS but I'm very Elop won't agree to that. Microsoft won't agree to that either. Bill Gates calls open source platform as pest.
@Andy214 N9 don't share much of N900 trait but at least be happy it inherited excellent browser. Thank god Nokia didn't bring any Symbian type webkit browser.

It's bad. They fix the clicking issue though. If I'm not mistaken, Double tapping zoom now follow iOS style, where the area where you double tap will be zoomed to fit to screen width. Still lag while scrolling if there's pics and videos. Not to mention the same rendering error when viewing LYN forum. I think it crashes a few times when we tried it at the event. Not bad?

i think the browser performance isn't good enough due to the arm11 680mhz,its not about the software but hardware..

Perhaps share same user... Judging from the response so far, those who ain't still hoping for a good show from Nokia won't even look at it.

There is FM transmitter/receiver in N9 but no app for it. Again sort of N900's issue when it was launched.Should be solved when someone release third party app.
