what if you typing without using your wrist rest? do you feel the stress on your wrist?
*
For typing case, your wrist are supposed to be floating, meaning, the base of the palm is not supposed to touch the table.
I have not game much lately, so I don't know how that would affect my wrist since floating palms for that case is rather tiring.

WTF am I always captivated by white stuff.......

Playing the piano also requires floating wrist..

There's a microsoft keyboard which design with your wrist lying on, having negative slope, i really love the design.

Hmmm, the PCB layout, seems like able to mount a Numpad on right. shocking.gif
It will be nice if it really do as I super like this type of layout(as of my Dell Vostro 3700), space saving without compromise productivity.
Now the only doubt is where to get a casing for that?

Yeah it's kinda hard to practice that. But after getting used to it I felt that I am able to type faster and less fatigue on hands. Floating wrist is the correct posture.

It might fit, but not with the same layout, since it has no holes for the 2 Unit Numpad zero, Numpad Enter and Numpad +, plus you need to rewrite the code for the numpad.

I'd take the easy way out and buy a numpad, and put it on the right side of my mouse if I ever need to key in shit loads of numbers.

Whoa... even the Majestouch also have a "spacesaver" version?
I for one, prefer the 356 mini series layout better... just slightly smaller than tenkeyless.... just for gaming purposes.... For doing my assignments and homework, i'd still prefer the fullsize ones...... me like numpad (even though only used it to key in passwords and many number stuff...)

I see.... now that you mentioned it, i kinda worried of my wrists as when im on my keyboard, im always put my wrists on the table (i dont have wrist-rest), then when i use mouse, i use claw grip, meaning i never actually moved my wrist.... after long hour usage, will feel the "pain.....

I believe that isn't always the case.
At least for Datahand user, LOL.

I would prefer a KBC Poker + Numpad combination then(though, I still need F-keys sometimes....) as I don't really need the arrow keys.
Numpad 4,8,6,2 can the job too when Num Lck is off. Not like there is (much) situation which need both number and arrows at the same time(even if it does, it will just be a numlock away whistling.gif )

So in short, I wonder why those OEM never(or rarely) go for the Filco Mini 100 design as it fit the requirement of both space saving and with numpad. Much more useful than 87 keys degisn IMO...

That Datahand thing... what is it for? Typing??? shocking.gif shocking.gif

That i think is because the layout.... the ISO layout with the big enter key, and the small/almost non-existent right shift key may not be ideal for people who does standard touch typing.... hmm.gif

http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?20485-D...ents-ROUND-FOUR!

Anyone who want to join this? Deadline are end of this month!! OMG!!!

These are doubleshot.

I thinking about joining this.
i would probably going for
DARK/STANDARD/ORANGE
DARK/RGBY
DARK/SPACE
DARK/SPACELEO

The set that i'm ordering roughly cost USD 108$, But depends on total order, i had a feeling the set i'm ordering are highly popular, which means higher order = lower price.
But don't say expensive, if you don't understand what are you getting from the order.
Standard kit has 133 Keycaps
RGBY Kit has 36 Keycaps

That is one Heck Of alot Keycaps you're getting, 171 Keycaps in total. you can mix and match it.

Standard Kit 133 Keycaps Picture:
Attached Image

The Kit that i am getting has all mix and match of Total 171 Doubleshot Keycaps.

Below are one of the possible mix and match combination.
Attached Image

Additional Info : Do note that, Doubleshot Keycaps printing last forever, the printing will not fade or vanish UNLESS you destroy the keycap itself. Another HUGE Advantage are, when your Doubleshot Keycap started to get shiny, just use a Wet Sandpaper to get back the rough texture surface. plain and simple.
