Oh i'm afraid you misunderstood me, i meant my friend got a defective BW as well and it had buzz, so when he changed it, there's no buzz anymore. So yes, the buzz is a defect, the keyboard is not supposed to generate the buzz sound.

Well it's not my blackwidow but my friend's. And quite a few of them have blackwidows, personally i don't like it because of the "low quality keycaps" <-- Just a personal opinion. I would rather have something like a Ducky (which i have) or a Filco, that is full-sized without weird addons and standard keycaps =/ Of course, that's just my personal opinion. I do not think the blackwidow is a bad keyboard at all, my friends that have it love it.

If you like the blue LED, then go with it! Nothing wrong with having a blackwidow, I just hope that you can get a flawless copy when you go exchange your current one lol

1. When i plug in my headset to the 3.5mm audio jack on my keyboard, there is loud buzz noise come out from my speaker... T.T Any1 can help bout this? Is this normal or i bring in a bad 1??

2. When i click my F button, the R button will click together, after checked, i realize that is mechanical part problem, abit slanting at the F key body makes this happen.

Hahha I always press space bar with my right thumb. I wonder what's the "proper typing" way.

Same lol but I got a few mistakes.

Yup if RM300+ is quite reasonable for a mechanical keyboard with good build quality

lol Topre Realforce. Those cost around RM1k right? I wonder what does it feel like. It sounds like black switches though. Do retails shop in Malaysia sell them or do we have to ship it in to get those?
*
They cost around RM900, between 800~1000.

The feel you can read back a few pages back, kianweic did describe them, about how they feel and there's a Video Review as well.

If you wonder how it feels, the Topre Switch are a silent version of brown switch, but Topre switch are very smooth, and i do enjoy more typing on Topre Switch than Cherry MX Switch. In my view, Topre are somewhat a better switch than a Cherry MX Brown Switch. But it still comes down to personal preference.

QUOTE(kianweic @ Oct 28 2011, 07:37 AM)
That is one huge keyboard.

There should be more Topre switch keyboards, just so few choices when it comes to Topre switch keyboards.
*
Well... the whole keyboard are made in Japan, even the switch, there are only 2 manufacturers and they are even located in Japan, Topre and PFU (HHKB).

The Topre Switch is kinda restricted to only available in this 2 Manufacturer. =/

Just send back the keyboard to them and get a RMA replacement unit, Btw, Razer are well known for their crappy quality anyway.

You should have get Ducky Shine instead.

Based on the photos posted earlier, I like the new letter that Razer invented by accident.

I will never plug anything extras on my keyboard, i just don't feel right that way, furthermore i felt that it will "ate up" the power in the keyboard and thus making any devices that's plugged into the keyboard to have unstable power.

For an example, headphone plugged in then it will sometimes loud sometimes quiet, mouse lags, yadayada.

Do not always buy stuff for its look, we are buying mechanical keyboard for its quality, its razer that spoiling everyone's mind to get their stuff for its blings look, so stop falling deep into it, you buy razer forex or whatever it called, i can get xmini which is the sane quality as it and PRODUCE the same sound as it, at RM59. So think, be a smart buyer.

I thought the shiny subject here are the keycaps? Well, all plastic keys will get shiny eventually, just a matter of time.

ABS gets shiny fast, but there are remedies to fix that.
PBT gets shiny slow, but when it shines, it cannot be amended.

No need worry so much, i cant see someone who cant enjoy their mechanical keyboards if they were to type cautiously fearing that their keys would get shiny...

Well, like something that gets dirty, easy to clean while something that's difficult to get dirty, will be hard or impossible to clean... same theory nod.gif

ABS remedies are what? i think they can be used in PBT as well.

If what you mean are Sandblast or Sanding, this can be done on PBT as well.

The problem with shiny ABS keys is... the shine is not even. The keys that your hands rest on more, or use more will be much shinier. Looks more like oil stain than a proper shine if you know what I mean.

Doubleshots kgo!

Seriously though, they should be worth the money if you detest shiny keys.

Doubleshots(which normally presumed to be ABS, cause PBT can't/hard) doesn't stop/prevent shiny keys, nuff said.

PBT keys do prevent/minimize/slowing the shinning though.
