The Happy hacking keyboard Professional 2.
Uniform weighting, but a tad more stiffer than Realforce although both are claimed to have 45g keys

Interesting.

Do they have full size keyboard?

From Elitekeyboards, it appears that Happy Hacking keyboards are tenless keyboard.

As far as i know, HHKB dont have fullsize keyboards, even the HHKB Professional 2 is less than tenkeyless... it's like a compact form, something similar to KBC's 40% Poker....

they are not tenkeyless keyboard. they are smaller than tenkeyless. which remove the numpad, F1~F12, Directional Button, print screen, scroll lock, pause, insert, home, delete, end, page up, page down.

Yes, they are somewhat like KBC Poker 40%, which only has total key of 60.

and to mention their price are some similar to Topre Realforce keyboard, but expensive than 103U Realforce. 300USD for 1 HHKB keyboard.

Didn't know you were not using membrane.

What keyboard are you currently using?
Some Qsenn keyboard. Im guessing it's rubber dome

I've done my research between Das and Filco, and I think I would be getting Filco instead due to certain complaints on das, convenience and personal preferences.

Is there anything I should look for? Like version name for defects as with the Das?

Just tried blue, brown and black keys on the Filco.. Poisonous icon_question.gif laugh.gif

Thanks for informing.

I won't be getting that as I definitely need the numpad to do calculations.

Initially, I also had that preference until I have tried brown switches.

My guess was MX red might be closer to the feel of my Logitech G15 previously.

Linear switches like red and black are generally less noisy.

It all boils down to whether you want tactile feel or not.

If you really want silent and subtle tactile feel, go for topre switches.

People want them because MX red used to be rare. Then it got rather common with all the Chinese brands doing it.
It's a really nice switch to game on, but as for typing, I don't like it so much.
My preference Blues>Reds>Browns

MX Red is in high demand because most of the KB enthusiasts have already collected all other switches and left with nothing to buy. After this I forecast MX Clear switch will follow the trend.

Mechanical switches actuates at 2mm of it's 4mm travel.
If you bottom on any of the switches, it will be as stiff or stiffer than a rubber dome keyboard depending on switch's color.
If you find G15v2 softer, it means you are using mechanical keyboard wrongly.
