QUOTE(kEazYc @ Oct 18 2011, 06:41 PM) We can't recommend you which type of switches suit you man, even though people claims black switch are good for FPS gaming which i don't find it to be true, it all lays down to your preference seriously. for CS i guess almost any cherry key can be used, down to personal preference.Like me i'm using brown which i find it to be suitable to my taste and suits all my gameplay style, when i borrow it to my teammate in CS who uses SS 6g/7g, they don't like it, and when they borrow me theirs, i don't like it too, lol. but say a game like UT or any game that requires u to double tap alot, then the non-clicky ones like cherry black has the advantage. |

QUOTE(Squarebox @ Oct 18 2011, 01:57 AM) Yes, Rosewill RK-9000 is red-plate-mounted like the Cooler Master Storm QuickFire which both are OEM from Costar. LOL... guess now everyone is loving the wire balance spring...... Looks like all the companies are heading for Costar to OEM their keyboard. Costar must be laughing all the banks. QUOTE(Squarebox @ Oct 18 2011, 07:13 AM) [VR]Rosewill Wa.... so good, for a mechanical keyboard... even filcos are 1 year only The distributor is providing 3 years parts and labour. (seen in page 2 of the link above) whereas Rosewill themselves only provide 3 years parts and 1 year labour. QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Oct 18 2011, 10:43 AM) i think kianweic purchase a fullsize keyboard which is much more cheaper than the 87U version. Fullsize keyboard price are around RM800. Cyclone, you had experience with Topre???? These keyboard are one of the highest end keyboard, Keycaps are PBT, Printing method are Dye sublimated, while it uses Capacitive Sensor which is entirely another league. QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Oct 18 2011, 02:30 PM) Nope, For additional knowledge for realforce, Normal Realforce Keyboard standard are multiple weight, ESC is 55g, WERSDFXCV are 45g, and there's 35/30g, and so on. lighter switch for your little finger and harder switch on thumb finger, it's a standard that optimize on human hand, for 55g, it is flat 55g, which means all switch will have the same actuation weight 55g. So meaning the "normal" Topre are of "variable weights" and the 55g is "uniform weights"??? Edited : Added Pictures Below are one of the realforce standard key switch actuation layout. [attachmentid=2491011] QUOTE(bai1101 @ Oct 18 2011, 05:09 PM) LOL.... muscle fingers... QUOTE(MichaelJohn @ Oct 19 2011, 12:12 AM) if you want silent switches, linear switches will do. (black, red)if low clicky sound, brown/clear maybe? Cyclone might be bringing in the Leopold Clear TKL version. |

yea, saw that before. but no idea how it really feels like.
only know that you will not bottom the keys as the ring prevent the key caps from hitting the metal plate. is it? |

QUOTE(lucidlts @ Oct 19 2011, 01:26 AM) yea, saw that before. but no idea how it really feels like. Eh? i thought the O-ring is used to dampening the impact your key upon hitting the metal plate... like cushioning effect.... only know that you will not bottom the keys as the ring prevent the key caps from hitting the metal plate. is it? |
