QUOTE(kEazYc @ Oct 18 2011, 06:41 PM) We can't recommend you which type of switches suit you man, even though people claims black switch are good for FPS gaming which i don't find it to be true, it all lays down to your preference seriously. for CS i guess almost any cherry key can be used, down to personal preference.Like me i'm using brown which i find it to be suitable to my taste and suits all my gameplay style, when i borrow it to my teammate in CS who uses SS 6g/7g, they don't like it, and when they borrow me theirs, i don't like it too, lol. but say a game like UT or any game that requires u to double tap alot, then the non-clicky ones like cherry black has the advantage. |

QUOTE(antonio @ Oct 19 2011, 06:58 PM) Does adding the o ring will turn your mechanical fel to membrane feel? I know it will help to dampen some noice butt hows the feeling like with the oring on? got such thing?i think first ppl need to learn how to touch type. point of mech kbs is that u only need a very light touch to activate the key, no need to bottom it out like membrane keyboards. |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Oct 19 2011, 07:12 PM) I think it will sure change the feel if you are the type that like to fully press down a key. Most ppl which like Cherry Switch over scissor switches because they prefer the long travel(4mm) of Cherry Switch over short(<2.5mm) of scissor switch. k lets play facts. However if you are the type of users which only press halfway, i think it wont affect you much(you dont even need for it, LOL). Added on October 19, 2011, 7:14 pm I know, but you saying that mechanical keyboard's point is a light touch to actuate keys, which is not necessary true. from the keys u listed... cherry black actuation 2mm. cherry clear actuation 2mm. buckling spring actuation 2.3mm. obviously meaning when it reaches that distance, the key will activate. so u do not need to bottom it out all the way to 4mm which is how far it travels. ie. once u learn how to touch type, u will start bottoming keys out less, and increase speed. |

PS2 cannot go obsolete for simple security reasons.
no USB port, means no data can be easily stolen. |
