hey guys, my order status says that my laptop should delivered today 27th June...

However, Ive not gotten a call from the courier confirming the delivery times etc...do they usually call on the delivery day to confirm the time before um..delivering it ?

very sad, i felt like return my dv6-6108tx, the fxxking dynamic switching give me hell a lot problem no matter in game or working.

In my case, they did called one day before deliver and mention will arrive before 12 noon.

On the delivery date, no call at all.

the auto graphic card switching thing ?

ah thanks OneBuck...thing is, since the delivery date's scheduled for today so well they shouldve called me yesterday but then agian its a sunday...i think ill call HP up later

yes, i admit this feature are good to some point, but just not suitable for me,
it seem like my 6770m only turn on in game but some game also cannot play with that card.
i don't want this card are just for game purpose.

This is why the 6001tx is still the best. The intel HD3000 is so powerful that you can game on it with nearly all settings on max in Race Driver GRID.....and when you really want crazy graphics, just use a shorcut key and the graphics card comes on, so 0 issues.

Look at all the problems the 61xx people are having, such bullshit. Auto switching never works. And before you blame AMD/ATi, even Nvidia has problems with Optimus.

The best? Manual switching!!!!

auto swicthing is work for most of the game, the main thing is some software that i use for my work~ non of it are working with my 6770m that is the main problem.

i don't know what to do now seriously.

i am not with my laptop now, but is that possible if i turn off intel HD 3000 in device manager? what will happen?

i really have no idea on how to do the auto and manual graphic card switching as my laptop is still free out of the box.. waiting to go pasar malam to get some ahem ahem games to try out my laptop..

anyone wants to give me some pointers on how to do the auto and manual switching stuff?

Like if i just want my 6770 to run all the time?

What's the shortcut key to turn on the graphic card (switch gc) ?

Don't disable that HD3000.

if they offer me same spec but change to dv6-60xx is that worth to accept that?

how to know its not working?

example: photoshop cs5 i've put that to high performance, my laptop are running in high performance mode,
ccc power play mode on, but photoshop still detect graphic card as intel HD 3000

some other graphic tool app also same, i use msi afterbuner to monitor, my 6770m not working at all, accept when i play game.
Even some game i need to play in window mode for some reason, that is no way for me to use 6770m, the color so much difference even tho intel HD 3000 could manage to run the game smoothly.

^ oh.. i don't think u can use msi afterburner to monitor your HD6770M. try Open Hardware Monitor and monitor that HD6770M core clock see if it's changing.

I'll try to lurk i NBR forum to check about switchable graphic.

On desktop > right click > graphics properties(make sure your gfx card is on) > preferences (in top right) > hotkeys > list hotkeys for mobile intel HD graphics > assign the hotkeys you want, I use alt + z for my gfx card and alt + x for my intel > tick the active boxes beside the name > tick enable hotkeys feature at the top > OK

This works beautifully on my 6001.....

btw.. the auto switching, is it seamless? or the screen will blinking when the switching happened?
