^ oh.. i don't think u can use msi afterburner to monitor your HD6770M. try Open Hardware Monitor and monitor that HD6770M core clock see if it's changing.

I'll try to lurk i NBR forum to check about switchable graphic.

thanks for help biggrin.gif
oh ic... no wonder i see msi afterburner is like nothing happen when i run some program,

for certain program / game u can check in the preferences see what graphic device are currently using,
or try this open hardware monitor like what acid said

for this dv6-61xx model i i don't think you can run radeon on any game/program in window mode, since you are FORCING to run your OS with intel HD 3000

this is really depend on what program you are running now.
for example photoshop you can go to preferences > performance
or try this open hardware monitor like what acid said

Most of the time it's working right?

The HD6770M won't kicks in when u're using OpenGL base game/app. So game like minecraft or application like Photoshop CS is out. hmm.gif

and MAYA too, this is bad...
for photoshop ya right i can run well with intel HD 3000
but thing is i pay money for the package, they shouldn't forcing me to run it with intel HD3000,
even i wan to run microsoft paint with radeon also is my business right? they shouldn't force or fix for me, all i want is simple just let me decide.

now i can see the problem not just because of open GL,
the thing is they  force you to run the OS with intel HD 3000, which mean you are impossible to run any program in window mode with radeon card.
imagine you multi-tasking with few program at the same time some run with intel some run with radeon, is not logic right your laptop for sure will crash or else bling like hell when they switching lol . rclxub.gif

Anyone tried disabling intel HD from BIOS? Workable? I'd rather just have my radeon turned on all the time. Thanks.

The one that this guy suggested right?

QUOTE
THE FIX: I turned on the power management [Power Play] checkbox in the ATI CCC settings. Previously, the defaults had it set to MAXIMUM unmanaged by the drivers, but then I changed it to managed Maximum/Maximum {AC Power: Maximum Performance, Battery Power: Maximum Performance}.

NOW Finally Dolphin gets 1.8x to 3x the FPS as it was getting (example: Wii Sports Bowling now is 65 FPS in places it was previous only 35). Open Hardware Monitor shows the Radeon at 750Mhz while wii games are running!

Other notes: I'm running NTSC games, which I ripped from my console myself, and to get > 60FPS you have to turn off the throttle in Dolphin. I also tell Dolphin to lock threads to cores to make sure the turbo goes stable at 2.6Ghz [Dolphin uses only 2 of the 4 cores]. Close all other other open applications. I was running at > 60 FPS just to stress test the system.... see how much headroom I had. Running the latest builds of Dolphin...

Did you monitor the Radeon clock speed while u run the application as well? like this guy.. as u can see he ran that in window mode and the dGPU is working.

overall this is a good choice, but this build are come with dynamic switching function for your graphic device which mean you cant switch the graphic device manually,
for more detail please read some of previous post.

buy at your own risk lol sad.gif

You can try ask them to exchange to 6001TX but keep the Bluray. laugh.gif

IMHO, the switchable implementation is still very new. It will get better overtime. hmm.gif
