cannot play RMVB format movie & MKV movie the sound or movie like delay.. sound not match the movie & the movie like slow motion @@ dam

& after i install the MPCHC there show me i no install the latest directX, is it cause me play movie have problem??

I think i know what is louis's problem. Its not the player's fault. Its the file! Please try playing with another file and confirm the pixelation. cause i got 1 ahem video that keep getting pixelated and another normal video that is fine. I keep getting frustrated that my ahem video can't be played. By copying again a fresh copy from my desktop, the video is playing fine already. My guess is that there is lost/corrupted data because I used external HDD to transfer at first but second time I used the LAN to transfer.

did you done any ESD precaution when handling the proc and gpu? If the thermal paste is really not that good. Might be changing mine too this weekend. you said IC7 is good? what is best? for how much? *lazy to search* haha.

what are the igfxpers.exe and IAStorDataMgrSvc.exe processes?

i no problem with mpc-hc leh.. i guess u missing some dll files.. i can check it out at the F.A.Q!

Added on August 2, 2011, 2:59 pm6114 got driver issue.. the safest way is call HP outlet & ask for official quotation. they will email to u.. find few sales person to compare the price.. u might get few hundred cheaper at lowyat or other place but i worried u might get fake headphone & if u dun plan to get headphone then is ok.. always buy from official + real main distributor cos is safer but no discount & if u faced any issue just direct deal v them.. if other place very leceh.. u need find A then B then back to HP then dunno where liau! always buy ori no need headache!

Ntg happen if you disable igfxpers.exe.

IAStorDataMgrSvc.exe that's for Intel Rapid Storage Technology.. the impact is not noticeable if you disable it. It is for Raid configuration management i think.

suddenly i hope acid just stay next to my house, so that he can reapply the thermal paste for me. any link to show step by step? bringing to hp service centre is way too far for me and they may not do it properly just simply check and tell me its done.

I think the service manual is what you need. First page has link to it. It shows u how to open up ur laptop piece by piece. But, I dare not do it yet...Maybe when i find the courage to open up, as my temperature now is quite ok.
