Did u all experienced AMD driver stop responding when playing game ? In my case it happen frequently after gaming for an hour .... the temp around 70 only ... and im using latest driver ... any solution ?? plz help all sifus here ...

I think it's the HDD.

I'm using WD My Passport Essential by the way.

download and install crystaldiskmark and do a sequential benchmark on your internal HDD. our "uber ultra fast 5.4k rpm" hdd can't reach that speed. best i could get is 70-80mbps for internal copy-pasta.

kinda weird for kelvin case since he is using SSD.

I just tested mine. It can go to 65MB/sec from laptop to external using WD My Passport.
You could try to transfer a single large file to check whether a higher transfer speed can be achieve or not.
If nothing works, maybe you should try to reinstall your USB 3.0 controller's driver.

I downloaded the software, but I don't know how to do the benchmark. How to do it?

I tried a single 4.2GB file transfer (.avi movie file) earlier. I got about 35MB/s from laptop to HDD and 75MB/s from HDD to laptop.

Select which drive you want to benchmark, click SEQ. and wait for the result.

I got only one drive. Here's a pic:

What format you're trying to play? Windows Media Player cannot play?

Hmm.. you should be able to get around 60mbps copying speed with USB3.0

Did the renesas 3.0 thingy running on the background? or you disabled the startup? Have you try to reinstall the driver?

Tried reinstalling drivers? Nope, never did.

RMVB & MKV format...

use MPCstar can play RMVB nice...
but for MKV then the movie hang & stun...

use km player cant play rmvb can play mkv... but some mkv movie can some mkv movie cant.. same hang & stun... duno wat happen
vlc play rmvb & mkv also have the square square thing in the movie @@... dam

I'm not sure whats wrong, your HDD to laptop copying speed seem more realistic and show that USB 3.0 is working. Can try to reinstall the USB 3.0 driver from HP website?

Ok.. if you have any codec pack installed, try to remove it first.
Then install Real Alternative Lite 2.0.2 and Media Player Classic-Home Cinema. Don't forget to reset setting when u install MPC-HC.
