PROMOTION PERIOD
4. The Promotion Period commences on 21st October 2011 and ends on 28th January 2012
(both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR PRIZES
8. To qualify for the Promotion, the Cardmembers must fulfill the following criteria (“Qualification
Criteria”):-
a. Local Transaction : Each multiple of RM50 for every card transaction will get one (1)
automatic entry;
b. Overseas Transaction : Each multiple of RM50 for every card transaction will get five (5)
automatic entries;
c. New Card Application : Every successful new card application will get ten (10) automatic
entries upon card activation. This is not applicable for existing Cardmembers.
A single Qualifying Transaction may be entitled to multiple entries. For e.g. a local Qualifying
Transaction of RM150 will be entitled to 3 entries.

SELECTION OF WINNERS AND PRIZES
9. The Prizes for the Promotion are as follows:-
a. There is a Grand Prize of one (1) Porsche Boxster;
b. There are also 100 Daily Cash Prizes of RM1,000 to be given away daily during the
Promotion Period amounting to a grand total of RM100,000.
10. The shortlisted Cardmembers for each Prize shall be chosen from Cardmembers who meet
the Qualification Criteria through a Random Selection Process.

for UOB one card, if we purchase non petrol stuff, reload TnGo, will we get the 5% rebates as well? as OCBC titanium card is giving 5%

Have you called the UOB Customer Service to clarify the situation ?

they say the system cannot process those cash rebate yet... will need upgrade system and next month only will credit back the cash rebate... anyway, i might apply ocbc ti card to utilize it in dining category...

Back to topic, IMO I think UOB should have set a different minimum amount for each card type. I mean it's kind of unfair if Classic card holders must swipe the same amount as Platinum holders to quality for an entry.
Not to mention, they should be rewarding existing cardmembers more instead of prioritizing new applicants.

Strong chance (doesn't mean sure ok ?) it will be given 5% as they may use the same Merchant Category Code(MCC) for Petrol Station

than better shopping some stuff at petrol station's shop rather than supermarket?

You should have insisted for UOB Classic... agents earn more commission for Platinum level CC.
It's free for 5 years... so doesn't matter which Card type.

FYI, commission for platinum, IINM is RM 70 per card....
