I also just received a new replacement card. Do we need to send sms to re-activate the "new" replacement card?
Besides, how can we check the smart cash earned? Recently done transaction at Harvey Norman but did not see 2% smart cash at customer copy receipt. Anyone can clarify this?

I was told that for UOB ONE Classic or Platinum card, the annual is waived for 5 years by the CS.

I even got the brochure sent by her to my email. Anyone can confirm this?

Coz she persuaded me to take the platinum card and convince me that there will be no annual fee.

just received Sept's statement from uob and the rebate for Aug's transactions were credited partially only. I called UOB and was told that system got problem...anyone face this problem?

Not sure about UOB but my sister had a Citibank CC and once she paid in full before receiving statement. Next statement shows a line "financial charges RM1++".

When she called Citibank to inquire about the charges, they told her it was because she paid before statement cut off. My sister gave them the reason was because she had to travel during that time and just thought of settling it early to avoid late charges. Finally they waived the amount due to her good records and asked her to pay by due date after receiving statement.

You should have insisted for UOB Classic... agents earn more commission for Platinum level CC.
It's free for 5 years... so doesn't matter which Card type.

Avoiding UOB One Card until everything is "enhanced"

i know, when i count back. Every time is not accurate and need to call to complaint. rebate also no use. waste my money to call them. Until next year, i will potong this card

Anybody has use UOB for Esso petrol? I got new card & swipe 1st time at morning time, the screen hang & return to main menu. Second time authorization failed. Then went over counter also failed. Call CC & informed aledi transact 2 x RM200. Evening try another Esso over the counter failed again. CS just said try to use at another place. If happen again then chip problem. Is this normal?

You made me go check my statements, haha. I can confirm once again not a single sen extra was charged for the conversion of my retail transaction to 6 months 0% installment plan (based on two last statements). I did called up UOB CS to reconfirm the terms and condition before I converted it to 6 months 0% installment plan. Once again, the plan is for selected customers only.
