if you got old astro siver stb, please remove/off, unplug the power. My friend did for 2days cannot get dvb-t2 signal because of interferance from astro decoder. If you still using astro, try not to use/share same power source or put abit far from your tv. Cheers ✌️.

This is the main problem for Astro stb which i experienced too, the design protocol should limit its interference to surrounding electronics apparatus, When I was in UK, their SKY TV stb doesn't have this problem. The analog UHF channel could shown lines on TV screen even it (Astro stb) is in STANDBY mode !

I curious how these stb providers to Astro could pass the design and quality control !

is the yagi antena same as the common fish bone antenna or is it different ? Normally for UHF we hear Tulang Ikan aerial ,now I hear Yagi, care to shed some light? Thanks
*
Same meaning. Yagi antenna = fishbone antenna.

Yagi is a technical name for fishbone antenna. Yagi is a Japanese engineer who invented fishbone antenna many decades ago, hence his name is used for this type of antenna.

Hey,  any luck in the North with 666Mhz?

Signal on and off mosaic, seems like weak signal performance. Do you think that Tx power will be increased after official launch ?

I will get another set of Yagi antenna for our local Mytv since concurrent one on roof top is doing well for Thailand DVB-T2.

Is that any platforms allow us to see whether the broadcast stations are turned on?
*
randomly scan, unless you have friend works with MYTV technical division to inform you the switch is turned on.

Put in this way, MYTV just a replacement for 7 analogue TV channels throughout the nation with DVB-T2 platform, that's all.

Don't put too much hope for free movie channels or sport channels as each of these so-called premium channel is licensed and fees applied to re-broadcast. Nothing is free !

Capability of MYTV to manage 7 Channels in digital platform has been pissed off public locally, want 30 channels ? Delay, Delay and Delay, the promises to public always behind schedule. Even 10 channels for FTA, I will consider it as DREAMING ! I am unsure the way of MYTV technical team managing a simple project. Not to compare with Singapore, just compare with Thailand which on air 20+ channels of DVB-T2 FTA (Free to Air) in digital platform.
