As yet ONLY the 16GB model is available everywhere.

How much is a 32GB microSD now anyway? Also, my question about Dive battery drain eh, just in case people missed my prev post.

I got it from US through a friend. 64GB cards are SDXC anyway, don't think Gingerbread supports them. Ice Cream Sandwich would probably support. Official specs of all high-end android phones pretty state the 32GB limit on SD cards. But I didn't notice much difference in the access speeds on my Desire. Read/write speed is about the same with my older Class 6 card. However, putting in a reader to transfer the entire season of your favourite tv programme on the card, and yeah, certainly saves a few minutes of waiting. The cards aren't cheap. Mine was USD89, but still cheaper than buying here as most sellers I found selling Patriot cards (which seem to have issues with Android) and going for more than RM400 for Class 10. I believe a good Class 6 card should be enough for most needs.

The battery pack has a full USB port. So you just plug in your phone USB cable to it and it can charge the phone. Anyway this item they do not deliver to Msia ; I just tested the checkout using my account. If they do, be prepare to add in another at least US$30 for delivery charges. I buy many stuffs from Amazon and only as a last resort ( if I cannot get on ebay ) as their delivery charges is very high

To those of you using Samsung Dive, how's the battery drain? The Netz says that it drains more somewhat on the Wave with Dive enabled, does it do the same on the SGS2? Also, does remote GPS activation work (turn off the GPS and try locating with Dive)?

Note I came from a single core fruitphone that can last an entire day with heavy use (while using a battery case), and thus would like my SGS2 to at least last half as long (also with a battery case, which is the MAIN REASON why I chose the SGS2 - it's one of the VERY few dual-core Droids with a battery case option).

@pcboy

Try using a Windows XP PC, seems there is an issue with ODIN and Windows 7 64Bit. Other users have complained as well.

First check : Miccrosoft.Net Framework 4 must be installed , download at :
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/deta...&displaylang=en

If you have this already install : NEXT
KIES is still a funny piece of software ; it is unreliable and cases of PC failing to detect phone is common. Just google this issue and you will see many of such cases. You can try this :

Install the proprietary Samsung USB phone drivers : Google for this exe file : SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.3.350.0.exe

If still cannnot detect, than need a longer way : install Google default USB phone drivers
Download android sdk at : http://developer.android.com/sdk/
Run the exe file. Remember where you extract the files. Locate SDK manager - run it. You will have few dialog box instruction , follow it till you are a prompted to install the packages. Minimum select Android 2.0 and above all files - the download of these could take up to half hour or more
Restart computer
