Just a response to the guy in the previous thread making baseless assumptions saying the A5 chipset is the best out there?

Not sure what benchmarks you are referring to or if you have used the iPad 2.

Speaking from my experience. I am a SG2 user and I have a friend with the Sensation and the new LG 2X, and between this three Androids it is hard to spot a difference. However if you go by app launching speed, responsiveness and smoothness, they cant compete with the GS2.

As for the iPad2, its the same but one can attribute the smoothness of the iPad2 due to iOS and how it is optimised to run on the platform seeing it is a one hardware/software platform unlike Android. However loading pages in browsers, playing HD videos, they load and play much faster on the GS2.

Try using a Windows XP PC, seems there is an issue with ODIN and Windows 7 64Bit. Other users have complained as well.

Did you try to clear the cache for market? Seems to be a common problem. You could try titanium backup and use the fix market option.
