What a good idea to the plaster ceiling after you've tiled your walls! My contractor did the plaster ceiling first, now the tile guy have to cut tiles to match the plaster ceiling. Haiz. Quite messy and not so straight at the top. Hopefully, after putting in the white grout, won't be so noticeable.

That advice by my contractor. He told me wall tiles need to be up before plaster ceiling. So no double work for ceiling fellow.

u r rly spending alot on ur house, pass by ur house like everyday tongue.gif

the tree is not by MPSJ?Be wary of termite prob as its very popular in this neighbourhood. But if your house do not have wooden doors and etc then no worries i guess. My house used to have some tree outside and somehow my parents managed to get rid of it. Recently my neighbour opposite my house also got rid of a very big tree, heard its done with the help of MPSJ. My parents is happy cos there's always leaves on the driveway, no more now biggrin.gif

Not that i want to spend. Renovating is not cheap, furthermore house is getting very expensive now.

This tree plant by my neighbor when they first move in, so you can guess how long this tree stay. I already inform MPSJ, they need around 14 days to do inspection, then send to contractor to cut. So minimal i guess is 3 to 4 weeks. My house all wooden door and using Nytok door frame. Yet to select type of door to use. I hope the 5L of termite killer I put in the ground can stop this termites attacking for some years. Also the Oil i put on the roof truss.

Why not use the metal type door frame? No worries on termite there.

It get more problem when hinge fail, and usually when weld in the hinge life span is shorten. Wood look nicer. A good thick metal door frame is about the price of a good quality wood, i choose wood smile.gif

I don't like to hold payment, if job done better pay. Else i spend the money later hard to pay them. Unless of course they pissed me off.

its true really... sometimes with so many things to remember, we tend to forget which has been paid. it gets worse if everything is from a different contractor or salesperson lol

Yeah, and the scary part some contractor take the cheque, but never bank in. Later come ask me issue again cause the cheque is damage / lost. I got 2 case.
