MSI mobo have compatible issue with their sata on nforce 250gb i think. I heard that the sata is not properly lock.

if u use nvidia sata controller, that's ok

asus k8n currentlymax at 300 mhz....2800+

mine max at 300 also so it's at 2.4 gig.

hehe....running at 318 now...tried 320 but prime got error... think its most likely my rams...



i'll let go my 2800+ when 3100+ widely available...

eh... Sempron64 can use lower multi or not?

My current Sempron 2800+ is totally locked
and I know Sempron 3000+ and above have multipliers unlocked downwards

My abit NF8 dont offer lower multiplier or downclock .

Btw , i juz fix on my Xp90, gonna update my result later. Hope can break HTT350

the multiplier is locked for my 2800+ as well...tough luck there...but kinda happy with the results...got your new processor already? but DFI can support E6 meh?? was checking through their website but they only support D0 core...

but the latest bios officially supports E6. even older bios also recognize it without any hassle, as far as i know

no need if you're confident that your board can clock high enuff

but usually DFI boards got better clocking when u're running your ram and fsb synchronously

i switch ram edi, dt-d43 512mbx2 kvr, max tested run at 265 2.8v 3-3-3-8 @ 2t

but still i cant go higher after 292htt, need to add vcore then only can get 300htt, 310htt nvr success no matter how many vcore added

cyclone i follow ur order running at 1T, but seems like my dt dun like 1t, n my chip seems anything higher 292htt need juice edi

haha...poor thing...i put my Vcore to 1.5v and i hit 331HTT...still haf yet to push it higher...currently i get around 9.6k with my card

btw i found some new research here, i can OC high when using one stick ram

with 1x 512mb
319htt/ 166 divider/ 3-3-3-8 2T (max out, should be my ram or board limit)
325htt/ 133divider/ 3-4-4-10 1T (bootable, not benchable, dtd43 dun like 1T)

with 2x 512mb
292ht/ 166 divider/ 3-3-3-8 2T (most stable, all using default include ram)

now no choice, running 292htt

conclusion
1) nf8 maybe limits OC with 2 stick of ram
2) suspect above 320htt must use 1T ram speed to run it
