then i think my temp sensor is not working properly. my issue was i thought the fan runs continuously, but i just checked, turn key to ACC fan does not run. start engine, fan still does not run. after a while when temp hit 1st notch, fan kicked in. and it runs on even when temp drops below the 1st notch. so it seems that my fan kicks in way below the correct temp.

isn't that too cool? i looked at the cables from fan and one of them does go to the temp sensor at the bottom, which means it's not bypassed right?

i AM trying to get the car back to factory setting. that's why trying to figure out why the fan kicks in and runs continuously even when temp is nowhere near 2nd notch which is below middle.

i'm not so concerned on the FC and engine cool, i'm concerned about the radiator fan being overtaxed and it might fail on me on the most inconvenient time!

i'll try and change the temp sensor and see. thanks.

bout the rear bonnet leaking prob..i can confirm dat. But about lantai bocor..my 12y.o car still didn't gave any prob bout

and another common prob. The rpm/speedo/fuel gauge problem. The needle esp the fuel gauge don't just
be static...it just move up & down like dat

try look for conoco hydroclear 10W-40 super all season,watery like and can last till 5k but need top up around 4500km if always high rev....engine response faster as well

about lantai bocor...that my saga saloon...reason is.....water enter from bonet(lekage at rubber seal)...than enter the cabin through under seat...that water goes to lantai....

i regret coz not prevent it by change the rubber seal...

actually this is a myte among old saga
i own a 1.5 and a 1.3
both year 91 but 1 is register at march and other 1 in september
i do a comparison on both and found out there some different in the wiring system
my 1.5 fan kicks in when the water temp reach middle
my 1.3 fan kicks in when it reach 1 bar only
both switch were idendical
so i ask around some forman they said its normal just make sure the fan kick in than u will be fine
just to get a peace of mind get the switch change if u doubt on it since it cheap
and dont forget the radioator hose while you are at it too

fuel gauge goes up and down is not a problem. Its the car! all saga/iswara like this 1

my saga Meter cluster never have that prob....that i relay on saga meter...

I am using Michelin PS3...so how? And i know how to differentiate between wind noise and tyre noise..

My car almost quiet when crusing below 100km/h. but upon reaching the speed, no need to say la...much more louder on driver side. Maybe because i crashed twice on the right side before...

As for squeaking noise, just find the root cause and tighten the screws, spray WD40

same here. I don't encounter dat prob when using the old saga. Guess its how the fuel gauge design
work (old saga was vertical while iswara horizontal)

but2.....how about UK spec meter cluster??the position(horizontal) of fuel guage same like normal iswara rite....

but to change meter Iswara>Saga need modified the wiring??

i dono lol. But most ppl actually change to Iswara meter on their old Saga iinm?
Or use the one from Fiore model (digital @ analogue one)

getting UK spec/Fiore dashboard is expensive.......
