today tested my fl, after paying tol, press the oil pedal till d end... rpm can hit 6.3 (the last white line before red line)... then it changes gear... for 1st n 2nd gear, then need to slow down d...
but for normal drive if i press the oil deeper, not till end, it only reaches 5k... is this normal? and how to check iafm, i cant find difference in the noise... coz d road noise is louder... lol |

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Jun 25 2011, 11:45 AM) ........... Dont think you can't reset odometer, it's illegal anyway, unless you change a new meter. Maybe you meant the tripmeter. For those who want to put their names on the owner's list at the front page, please PM the Thread Starter, xshiro, with your model, auto/manual and color. If you just post here, he might miss it, since he might be busy with his life. As for those 1.6 owners, if you don't mind following the procedures below for measuring FC, it would be much appreciated, as I would love to see what the real FC of the 1.6 is like. 1) Fill full tank 2) Reset odometer 3) Drive normally until ready to refill (doesn't have to be until empty tank) 4) Refill full tank again 5) Compare the quantity of petrol in liters you just pumped vs how much mileage you just drove in km/l 6) Repeat steps (2) to (5) at least 3 times and get an average. |

just now step my pedal all the way to the floor, was rushing home. 160-165km/h constant from KK back to subang in 4mins. but something was funny when i drove normally after turning into to subang. there was an extreme lag on the gear change. like stepping >half, the rev ran up to 5k before it changed to gear 3, and it stayed on gear 3 even tho i was at 90km/h, let the foot off the pedal and it still didnt change gear. stepped a bit and it ran back to 3k~5k rpm. it didnt switch to gear 4 at all. but after about 5-10mins of slow driving, it returned to normal. is it cause of the ecu memorizing the speed to shift to the next gear?

abs = prevent your car tyres from locking when you slam the emergency brake. so you can steer your car out of obstacles in front of you incase you cant brake in time.
