RT-N13U-B1

Latest custom firmware RT-N13U.RB_7.28.2.3 is available:
http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...id=74&Itemid=70
same like the above RT-N56U, with pre-built localised ISP (UniFi-Home & Business) selection, also include "Others" for user-definable vlan tagging !

Please take note with this latest firmware for both N13 & N56, the WAN setup screen has changed to :
http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...id=77&Itemid=76
Please ensure you select the correct localised ISP (at the bottom), the STB (for Home-UniFi only) is connected through Port1.

I've also tested two 2.5" USB2 ext HDD (NTFS & ext3) with Download Master without problem:
N13 (need to download the custom Utility):
http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...id=80&Itemid=73
N56 (current standard from ASUS official site will do):
http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...id=85&Itemid=80

Enjoy ! laugh.gif

I have one question.
Currently I'm using a phone number for many years.

When I subscribe unifi is it I have to change the old number?
or else I hv to pay rm20 every month to remain my old number?

have to check whether your current old number can support unifi or not.

like mine, old number are not register in unifi... only avail on 2nd quarter 2012. so they asking me to subscribe a new number in order to get unifi.

Based on klseet.com, bought TP-Link TL-WR841ND from Lowyat for <RM90. Get the seller to flash the customised firmware for you. Used 24/7 since June 2011 with no problems. Good wifi signal with the 2x5dBi antennas, i.e., can receive signal upstairs, at neighbour's house ...... Low cost, low headache, replacement option.

anyone believe i can use Huawei HG655a VDSL modem as a router? Which means you can directly connect your PC to BTU for internet access. You can throw the D-Link DIR615 away and use any wireless router that without VLAN tagging feature. All router are supported!

I will prepare a guide with screenshot how to do it.

yup i believe that.. even after they change mine from huawei to zte.. it still have vlan and port mapping feature on the modem itself.. even when i use dir as router, there is no vlan tagging in the frames after the modem..
