Depends on the game. Pro Controller for all games that don't feature extras on the Gamepad. Motion controller for Mario Kart. I'm tempted to get these for Super Smash Bros.  brows.gif

That one is just a reskinned (with turbo function) wii classic controller, not a real gamecube controller. So you have to plug in into wiimote.

Lucky you. I proposed for capital injection under family budget 2015 to buy Wii u. Unfortunately, it was rejected under reason 'tiada keperluan buat masa sekarang'. Sigh..

I need to retable this motion for next family budget 2016.

supposingly, the Tsuika Pack (Japanese Wii remote plus with nunchunk and sensor bar) used to be around RM 165. But now it went up to Rm 185, so it's kind of a sour note.

I'd recommend not getting a third party one. I've seen a few and they do break down quite easily.

Oh the Wii Classic Controller! I remember hunting that one. End up accidentally buying 3...
First bought the OEM from Ebay.... because I give up looking for original ones..
Then after making my purchased.. the next day bro Alex said he found an old stock RM50 for the original one. End up with 3 Wii Classic Controller tongue.gif

Can the Wii Classic Controller be used on the Wii U? I mean for Wii U games with the CC hooked to a Wii mote of course. Not planning to buy a CC Pro....

Check behind the game box and see if it's compatible. There will be controller icons of wii classic controller if it does support.

I know some that works like Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, Sonic Lost World and Wonderful 101. Source? I just checked all my Wii U gamebox for you.
Take note that not all the games works. Wind Waker HD, Hyrule Warriors, MH3U, Pikmin 3, Nintendoland, Wii Sports Club, NSMBU and Luigi U doesn't support it.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if the box is referring to Wii CC or WiiU CC. Now I don't have to buy the WiiU CC for now.

I remember when I first got the Wii CC with the MH3 bundle, I hated it cos you have to hook it to the Wii mote for the signal and power but after grinding 100 hours with it on MH3, I grew to love it especially how light it is and the abuse it can take.

Not sure how much abuse the Gamepad can take especially playing games like Bayo2.

I notice some lag on the Gamepad when playing Bayo2 demo, is this normal? I was still very near to the console but was trying the off-TV mode.

opposite for me.. bayo 2 on the gamepad had a higher framerate compared to my sharp TV. my TV sucks.

you used the normal wii classic controller or the pro version? did it have the grips?

For me the gamepad is the best controller while the Wii U Pro Controller is 2nd when it comes to playing games on Wii U just because of the juice it gives me.
I have the Uboost from Nyko to give me double to battery if I play a game too much. But some games without any touch screen features, i'll use the Pro controller.
Classic controller is only good on Wii mode for me where I switch between Wiimote and CC.

How much abuse the gamepad can take? I've played 700 hours of MH3U on it and the thing is still good till this day.

nah. Haven't seen them selling it. by i think RM 10 for the SP ain't so bad.

I think some people do use casings. But i like it bare naked. Feels nicer.

I use the CC Pro with grips, without grips the CC kind of looks like a SNES controller.

I think the CC Pro also have additional shoulder buttons compared with the CC? I can't be sure...

Kyo, I added you on my friend list. please add me so we can coop on bayo2 later lol.
