Hello, anyone know if importing a Wii U from Amazon USA will get taxed at customs? I think importing is cheaper than buying a set locally as the bundles here aren't cheap.

Eh? How come?

Not sure... here take a look at my adapter

It just doesnt fit. Tried using some force until the plastic and paint started to come out but still cannot. Asked in FB and people suggested I cut the plug to make it bigger. Electronics are scary and I don't dare to do it. Any ideas? wrong plug?

I wouldn't say wrong plug, but if you noticed on the WiiU, the adapters itself has 1 part small and the other part slighly bigger (The kepala I mean). Supposingly, what I did was tilt it downwards into the adapter and it works. If it still doesn't go in, switch it around. I'd show you if I could but I have no way of doing that. laugh.gif

hmmmm..... OK i tried tilting and turning 10 time and with some force i managed to put the head in... so should be no problems right? won't hurt the power supply and anything like that? scared to fry the console when I havent even played 1 time before.. lol

Thanks! I have a few games now and will buy Bayonetta 2 after finishing them.

Any places to recommend that sell cheap Wii games? Original discs quite hard to find. Thinking of importing used ones from Amazon..

And any place for cheap Wii Remotes? I found some on lelong that is very cheap but scared is those China pirated ones and cannot be used for Wii U..

I import most of them from Amazon, it's very rare and hard to find. Some Wii games I buy from Kyo.
Wii remotes, if you want it cheap can try hunt for Wii Party U bundle, it includes a remote and the game, quite cheap.

I have quite a lot of Wii games collection myself and most of them are new but rare ones got it used.

I see.. one of the problems for Amazon is that most sellers don't ship to Malaysia.. I'll try and look more. Wii Party U looks like a great deal..

Currently enjoying wii U more than my ps3.. haha

Check behind the game box and see if it's compatible. There will be controller icons of wii classic controller if it does support.

I know some that works like Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, Sonic Lost World and Wonderful 101. Source? I just checked all my Wii U gamebox for you.
Take note that not all the games works. Wind Waker HD, Hyrule Warriors, MH3U, Pikmin 3, Nintendoland, Wii Sports Club, NSMBU and Luigi U doesn't support it.
*
dang... so there's no universal controller that both works for all wii and wii u games?? sad...

and I just realized wii classic controller has a pro version. lol. nintendo controllers so many type ..

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if the box is referring to Wii CC or WiiU CC. Now I don't have to buy the WiiU CC for now.

I remember when I first got the Wii CC with the MH3 bundle, I hated it cos you have to hook it to the Wii mote for the signal and power but after grinding 100 hours with it on MH3, I grew to love it especially how light it is and the abuse it can take.

Not sure how much abuse the Gamepad can take especially playing games like Bayo2.

I notice some lag on the Gamepad when playing Bayo2 demo, is this normal? I was still very near to the console but was trying the off-TV mode.
*
opposite for me.. bayo 2 on the gamepad had a higher framerate compared to my sharp TV. my TV sucks.

you used the normal wii classic controller or the pro version? did it have the grips?
