problem solved. i switched the jack to another component channel. now can choose 720p non-hdmi and got colour already.

Any places to recommend that sell cheap Wii games? Original discs quite hard to find. Thinking of importing used ones from Amazon..

And any place for cheap Wii Remotes? I found some on lelong that is very cheap but scared is those China pirated ones and cannot be used for Wii U..

I import most of them from Amazon, it's very rare and hard to find. Some Wii games I buy from Kyo.
Wii remotes, if you want it cheap can try hunt for Wii Party U bundle, it includes a remote and the game, quite cheap.

I have quite a lot of Wii games collection myself and most of them are new but rare ones got it used.

I see.. one of the problems for Amazon is that most sellers don't ship to Malaysia.. I'll try and look more. Wii Party U looks like a great deal..

Currently enjoying wii U more than my ps3.. haha

You can get it for RM 180 something ya know. It ain't that bad considering shipping is another issue.

Thanks kyo for the house call delivery yesterday and all the extra stuff I need to get started, finally a white Wii U to sit nicely next to my Wii now.

One tiny thing, I love the screen protector but it seems to affect the touch screen, nothing gets detected when fully applied. When I leave some air space on the side, it works perfectly fine! Had to pull it open a few times to get it right but hopefully not anymore cos I don't want to ruin the layer.

Wanna ask, what type of controller do u guys prefer to use on your wii U?

the Gamepad or the Pro Controller?

for me it is pro controller cause the battery is awesome! (nearly a month without need to recharge).

and the gamepad is too bulky and heavy leh..hard to play while lying on the sofa...

I end up using the gamepad most of the time.
They small stuff that you can do on the gamepad is good enough for me.

Pro Controller don't have that. But for some games without the screen thing, i'll use pro controller.

games like windwaker HD and mario 3d land i tink better use pro controller.. more easier to handle coz its smaller.

Even those games I prefer using my gamepad.
The gamepad function on Windwaker was great. You can switch weapons, look at the map and check the tingle bottle.. WITHOUT pausing the game
Although the improvements is small, the game experience is better for me with this small features. Controller wise if you don't prefer using the screen, are basically the same on both pro and gamepad.

Haha, yeah. Initially just wanted to get the 2.0, but since that version doesn't support the playsets from 1.0, decided to get both.


Depends on the game. Pro Controller for all games that don't feature extras on the Gamepad. Motion controller for Mario Kart. I'm tempted to get these for Super Smash Bros.
