how much you got it for? I remember it used to be the first gaming mice that I wanted, but after looking at uhh...then I decided to go for DA.

I remember Everdying or you or someone said, CM Storm Sentinel is one of the worst gaming mouse in the market around last year.

And i did read in V3 or V4 Gaming Mouse Thread which alot of people recommend people DO NOT go for CM Storm Sentinel. That's why i didn't own CM Storm Sentinel Mouse until now. =/

well, cmstorm sentinel and the razer laser mouses both share the same philips sensor.
but the cmstorm one was so bad due to i guess crappy drivers / firmware.
the mousefeet also sux, calling it teflon is a disgrace...tho i heard newer models improved on it...
also heard cmstorm have improved the firmware recently, so yea could be a diff mouse now.
never really bothered to get my hands on a newer one to try.

only cmstorm mouse im interested in now is the spawn.
the only sucky / stupid / idiotic part about the spawn is again the drivers doh.gif
can only set 800 / 1800 / 3500...and nothing in between or even lower...and i set my mouse at 450dpi...so means adjustments elsewhere...zzz.

Yap...Good hardware but crappy softwar...but since recently CM storm has improved slighty in terms of drivers and customer relation, prior to this the only response u gonna get if ur mouse dies...

G700 = bargain price, same sensor as xai, hybrid function, stiff wires, comfortable, batt life a bit short (probably because only 1aa battery)...

MAMBA = high price, issue with tracking on certain pads surface, comfortable, batt life ok a bit compared to g700...

X8 = never hold before so don't know tongue.gif

i'm also checking out wireless gaming so perhaps share with you some of my research besides the figures you find on the spec pages

g700
lower price
hybrid = charge when use
normal cable = harder than braided ones.. and it looks cheap
extended cable = really it's just extended cable for the receiver.. any usb extended cable is as good
AA rechargeable = easy to find replacement
nano usb receiver = ultra portable

mamba
higher price
hybrid = charge when use
braided cable = smoother when using
own rechargeable battery = must buy from razer.. if they ever offer one
dock charger/wireless receiver = ultra not-portable, basically carrying the dock as well if you want to do wireless, but it's a cool show off when it's charging.. desktop user this is a plus.. it's easier to charge with a dock than plugging in usb like the g700 every time

x8
just in between for price
dated spec
felt less ergonomic (tried it on display unit so might be different individually)
actually thats all i know.. cause when i know it's dated it's out of my list

others
naga epic.. like mamba.. but i like it cause it's more comfy with ring finger and pinky rest
aviva and rat9.. like mamba too with dock.. but i think comes with second battery... you can charge them with the dock separately.. which should(i'm guessing) last twice as long(lifespan) since you have two battery assuming they have similar capacity and consumption compare to mamba or naga.. really just guessing cause too many variable for this one
all the one mention here with dock uses it as wireless receiver as well.. just to mention.

mamba does look cool when it's charging rclxms.gif +1

naga epic with lots of button on the side dont look comfortable to me
but interchangeable side panels is surely +1 for comfort

naga epic has dock charger too right?

Don't get fooled by Mamba backlit.... smile.gif You will getting piss off while you are using it. tongue.gif

U dont really felt the 12 buttons on naga epic and it is extremely comfortable as i tho after i tried it. If you are not fully utilized the buttons, it is meaningless to get a naga

its a very reactive mouse,i don't miss my mx518 after using it,it perform well in gaming and the smaller size actually let me actuates it in even more precise move

don't judge by the looks.. i first tot naga design to be the least comfort.. to my suprise it's the most comfort.. it's a proper right handed shape mouse.. all my fingers are well placed.. no such thing as "pinky drag".. i tried holding the display in allit lowyat.. they have all there.. it's wired but the shape and size should be the same.. yes.. it has a dock.. less cool than mamba.. using shape alignment instead of magnet i think when you dock.. i'm not sure of that one..

nice!.. i am checking out it's heavier brother m950.. found out some figure that it has a max dpi of 1500 and polling rate of 125 or 8ms response... i assume this one have same if not least spec.. is it all good for FPS? notice any sleep problem?
