Then then those intergrated notbook like MBP & 15z mah die lor.. battery kenot remove... doh.gif
*
Yeah, those will have problems as well...
but since they're mostly not use for resource intensive programs like games etc., the effects won't be that apparent
Additionally, most who can afford MBP or 15z will most probably in air-conditioned rooms all day anyway laugh.gif

Depends on the type of cooler you're referring too..
Most cooler pad fans blow air....

Its partially integrated laugh.gif
Alienware probably decided that by making the battery removable, the solidity of the laptop would be affected or something laugh.gif

It can be done, but very troublesome so I'll pass~
I've no intention of removing it, I almost never use the batteries anyway laugh.gif
So far still okay, managed to squeeze 4 hours out of my power hungry monster thumbup.gif

I meant I've never really run the laptop on batteries nod.gif
I often have the laptop connected to power sockets...
The batteries can be manually removed by opening up the chassis..

Neh, I move it around ALOT. Home to Institute vice versa laugh.gif
Just that I don't use it on battery
LOL, just realised we've gone WAY off topic... sorry bout that...

The M14x doesn't have a lot of vents at the bottom, so as of now, I'm still not sure whether the U2 works effectively for it or not hmm.gif
But what I do know is that the usage of SSD instead of HDD will decrease the temps by alot nod.gif

Some computer allows user to stop battery charging without removing the batteries. At least XPS16 has this function.

Yeah, it'll be difficult... if the user is using U2 or U3, it'll definitely slide haha  laugh.gif
But its not a big problem actually since most users won't be running insanely resource consuming stuffs on battery; and they won't be attaching the battery when running resource intensive stuffs  laugh.gif

hmm,so does a normally the laptop will slide down on U2/U3? i mean not with the dell 9cell battery, with normal flat 6 cell battery?
